Milani Runway Eyes Golden Touch Review, Swatches, Photos

Milani has introduced four new shades in their Runway Eyes Collection for Spring 2012. I haven’t had success tracking them down but was lucky enough to come across Golden Touch this week.

I love it!

Beach Sand is one of my favorite shades from Milani so I was happy to see another sparkling, sheer shade. This isn’t for everyone and many folks probably won’t like it but I adore it.

It’s does have a good deal of a golden over spray which swipes rather quickly away to my disappointment but underneath is a sheer, light gold powder with a tiny hint of sparkle that lights up eyes beautifully. This is one of those shades you’ll want to indulge in if you want to do a natural eye look or a dramatic winged line or perhaps you have tired eyes or darker circles, this is an idea shade for brightening eyes up.

Pigmentation is pretty subtle but the shadow has a nice silky feel and blends easily. Like I said it’s not really a shade everyone will love due to the subtly of the color pay off but I thought it was incredibly pretty.

I’m looking forward to getting my hands on the other new shades.

I got it at Walgreens but it is available online at www.milanicosmetics.com if you can’t wait for it to hit stores!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Do you ever watch Tiffany D? She’s in love with MAC’s Carefree right now – and this looks like it could be a good dupe!!

sorry, I actually use my own sponge applicator and didn’t bother with it 🙂

I know! I wish they would stop including the crappy applicators and knock the price down 50 cents. I don’t mean to sound cheap but they always suck and nobody uses them!

I think I paid $4.59, I’ve love $3.99 range…I’m not cheap either, but $3.99 def sounds nicer 🙂 yeah, the applicator isn’t really fab :-/

Gosh – didn’t mean to sound so angry! The color is really, really pretty, I love golds. It is just irritating with all the useless applicators all the time.

no worries, understand 🙂 just toss them and use your own 🙂

Is it a light gold color or is it a shimmery yellow-beige color? Cause I have a lot of beige-y colors but I would love a light gold.
