NYX Cream Shadow Suede Frost Beige Review and Swatches

As I suspected from my original review, the new NYX Cream Shadows in the more natural shades seem to be a win for me.

Don’t get me wrong the more vibrant ones are lovely but I find that the lighter shades are easier to apply and blend.

I indulged in two more shades, Suede and Frost Beige, and I’m quite delighted with both.

Have a look!

Suede is a must have. This is a soft dirty gold with a nice subtle shimmering finish. It applies alot thinner than the other shades I’ve reviewed for you but still manages to have a nice pop on lids. I think these lighter shades seem to blend and build easiest.

(Suede)

(Frost Beige)

I also purchased Frost Beige with is a light, frosty beige. This too has a nice lightweight finish on eyes with an easy to blend and build formula.

(Swatched Left to Right: Suede and Frost Beige)

I liked Suede best so if you’re making up a list of shades you’d like to try do add it on there.

If you missed my full review of these please click here to revisit it.

If you tried them already I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I have been following your blog for a while now, and find you a great resource for my cosmetic addiction! I completely agree with you regarding these shadows. I found the lighter colors to be much more wearable. Keep up the good work!

stop stop stop I want them all and I could have them all but I’m going back to school full time so I have to limit my make up spending in lieu of books and what not.

Suede looks like a great “slap and go” shade. Will give that undone but done look LOL. That and a little black, brown, or plum liner and you’re all set.
So where’s the pic of it on your peepers? (You know we all love to see your smiling face.)

def a great shade for slapping and going hehe! I already did a review with pics on my eyes Majick. 🙂

Love the Suede swatch, Muse! I’m wondering what the swatch of the Rose Gold type shade will look like. The natural collection of these shadows really has my attention! 🙂

I feel like these could both work really well as a hilighter! Frost Beige for lighter tones and maybe Suede could work for medium skintones. I haven’t been able to try these myself, so I don’t know if they’d feel alright on the face, though. What do you think?

I was vacillating between these two yesterday, chose Suede. I have the feeling these are going to make up for the Maybelline Cream-On eyeshadows (remember I’m old) that I missed out on in my youth…which means I am probably going to buy WAY too many of them.
