Tarte Maracuja Divine Shine Lip Gloss Review & Swatches
Tarte has new lipglosses on the scene for Spring. Anyone try ’em yet?
Healthy formula, colors that will flatter your Tarte Blush Collection, and a formula infused with maracuja to keep lips looking smooth and full, what more could a girl want?
Chicks, these aren’t for you if you don’t like thick, sticky glosses but if you’re cool with such a formula you’ll love it. I’ve personally made my peace with stickiness because honestly, let’s face it, sticky glosses make for the longest wear time evahs.
The cute floral pens that the gloss comes housed in will add a touch of Spring to your makeup bags. The glosses are a click pen with an attached brush applicator so they travel friendly for touch ups although the wear time is so long you might not have call for too many touch ups!
Typically Tarte glosses are pretty thin and have a shorter wear so these are an interesting take on gloss for the brand. The formula lacks parabens as well as mineral oil, etc…so if you’re conscious about your ingredients you’ll be very pleased.
The shades are all named after Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush shades however they aren’t exact dupe for the shades, but pretty close, so they are a nice match up for the blush shades should you wish to pair them up with a look!
As I mentioned above they are pretty thick which gives them a heavier feel on lips but the wear time is wonderful at around borderline six hours before it starts to thin out and disappear.

Colors are sheer in some cases but very buildable. It really depends on the color you indulge in. Several of the shades I swatched here have excellent color pay off. They also have a pleasant minty taste.
I was excited about Glisten since it’s my favorite shade of blush from Tarte, but the shade is more of a shimmery beige than the pretty golden peach that the blush color is.

Overall, Tarte Maracuja Divine Shine Lip Gloss have alot of great features including the paraben free formula so long as you don’t mind a thicker, stickier gloss. I liked them, it’s definitely a welcome addition to Tarte’s Lipgloss Collection as they have been lacking in the gloss department slightly.
