Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Flirt Review & Swatches

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Flirt 3

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine is one of thee best Chanel lip products I’ve run across. The smooth glide, the shiny finish, the lightweight feel, it all adds up to a loving relationship.

The new bright orange shade entitled Flirt made it on my Spring wish list easily enough but I wasn’t sure I could pull it off, oranges don’t do me well but peaches and corals are my downfall.

Let’s take a look!

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Flirt 2

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine is an incredible formula. They’ve successfully combined the joys of a lipstick with the finish of a gloss in this one. Wet, juicy, succulent color are delivered here. Rouge Coco Shines glide on lips like melted butter leaving behind a sheer, loving amount of tint with a shiny, glossy finish that leaves lips wet, kissable, and gorgeous.

The colors always have just the right amount of pigment that builds easily for the best tinted finish that appears natural and gorgeous. They wear comfortably with a light formula that doesn’t migrate or slide away too easily and the shiny, glossy finish is a perk that not many lip colors can lay claim to.

Flirt is a lovely little orange coral that was released with the Chanel Spring 2012 Collection. Having had much success with all the shades I’ve purchased from the Rouge Coco Shine I went against my better judgement and decided to test this out. I’m a little scared of oranges. I love peaches and corals and I want to wear orange so badly but it ends up looking awful on me. Lucky enough my hunch about Flirt was right. It may appear difficult to wear in the tube but on my lips it turns into the perfect touch of peachy coral (no orange in site) that pairs up beautifully with natural eye looks featuring shades of gold, brown, bronze, or copper.

Needless to say Chane Rouge Coco Shine is an incredible lip product and with colors like Flirt in the mix you have the perfect tools for creating a fresh Spring look.

I picked up Flirt in December when it first became available. I love the Rouge Coco Shines. Boy was actually my first Chanel purchase ever — and I just finished a tube. That NEVER happens. LOL

Muse, you are so lucky these work for you….I am seriously envious. I purchased 3 when they first came out. Love the color, love the texture, love everything. Except…..they wear off before I leave my vanity. No kidding, they last on me maybe 30 minutes on a really good day. And that’s with no eating, drinking, or anything else. The color in your swatch is beautiful, would love, love to have it. But sadly, no. The wear issue is too critical for the price. Enjoy yours for me!

oh no that sucks deb! I get good wear (without eating/drinking) for about four hours before they fade away or I lick them off (i tend to nibble lips and lick them alot) awwww sorry babe!

      yak!

I shall think of another shade for you in a longer wearing formula ;D!

You’re so right – I love these sooo much. I recently bought Romance and its the perfect bright pink on me – not too much but enough to notice. I find myself reaching for it all the time. It does wear off in about two hours but does leave a nice stain on my lips. And for some reason, I don’t mind reapplying. I am insane for coral so I now know that Flirt will be mine!

Elizabeth, rest assured, it’s not just you. Several of my friends have experienced the same thing. And I’ve read a lot of reviews on blogs booing the wear time. Seems like one of those products that just really work for some and really doesn’t work for others.
