Chanel Soft Touch Eyeshadow Tigerlily Review & Swatches
My obsession with orange, tangerine, glistening peach, and coral continues….(it never really ended but this year’s Pantone Color of the Year has gotten me even more crazed about these warm shades).
The new, limited edition Chanel Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Tigerlily is essential to your collection if you’re loving soft shades of wearable orange at the moment.
Take a peek!
Orange isn’t exactly the easiest shade of shadow to pull off but on medium fair skin, olive, or darker you’ll find Chanel’s Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Tigerlily just the trick for pulling off the look!
This soft, golden orange is a warm shade of orange-y shimmery joy with just the right touches of subtle shimmer and a soft sheen that builds easy on lids. You can use it gently for a soft color wash but it delivers the best results with two or three layers in place for a lovely pop of golden orange.
The texture is soft, smooth, and applies and blends out like a dream. Hey, it’s a Chanel Eyeshadow, what did you expect? I find Chanel’s single shades are so much more giving than those in the quads, they are so soft and smooth and apply all dreamy with considerably less shimmer than you’ll see in some of their palettes.
But formula aside, I think the color is just gorgeous. You can use this on its own as I did in my photo below but it also works well with yellows, golds, pinks, and corals or with a bit of brown liner smudged on your upper lash line. If you find shades of orange intidimating, I think Tigerlily can easily put those fears to rest. P.S. The blush I’m wearing below is the one included with the new Tarte QVC TSV!
Love this shade.
Very Muse Approved for purchase.
The $28 price tag might make you wince slightly for a single shade of shadow but it is a higher end brand, if you have a ticket to ride, I’d go with it. It’s just a stunning, easy to wear shade.
