Clinique Quickliner for Eyes Intense Spring 2012

Clinique Quickliner for Eyes Intense Spring 2012

Clinique Quickliner for Eyes Intense is a new launch of eyeliners that promise an intense, richly pigmented pay off. I’ve already found the blackest black but I’m on the hunt for a super pigmented shade of chocolate brown.

Perhaps this collection will hold the key!

Quickliner for Eyes Intense promises to provides richly-pigmented color payoff for instant intensity. A soft, easy glide on formula applies effortlessly and smudges out just as easily thanks to a smudger tip on the tip of the pencil. Quickliner for Eyes Intense provides non-fading, long-wearing color and provides a smooth, liquid-liner-like payoff that sets for 12 hours.

Clinique says, “Women looking for a richly-pigmented eye liner have met their match.” Ok, I’m excited, you have my attention!

Man, I love these. These have been out before in LE collections and I’m thrilled they’re permanent now. I’ve used everything, including those new(ish) Chanel pencils, Bobbi Brown gel (of course), Maybelline, Stila, MAC, and so on. I think these pencils are the best of the bunch and they’re only $14! I line up under my lashes and these are beautiful — smooth and creamy — but they set in a few seconds and wear and wear and wear. I have the Charcoal and the Chocolate, both of which are lovely. I usually use Charcoal, but I’ve switched more to the Chocolate for a softer look to go with my springier makeup. The Chocolate is dark and rich (not so dark you’d ever mistake it for black) and… neutral. I’d say the shade is teeny bit cool, but it has a subtle coppery shimmer which warms it up. It’s definitely worth a look! These are HG for me, BUT Bobbi is coming out with “Long Wear” eye pencils, including one in Black Plum, so that might end my love affair with the Clinique QL Intense.
