Dior Addict Lip Balm Crystal Coral Review & Swatches

The Dior Summer 2012 Collection releases the magic of Dior Addict Lip Balm in a new shade of coral. I’ve made no secret about my absolute love for Dior Addict Lip Glow and this is basically the same formulation in a new stunning shade of coral for Summer.

The shade keeps right on trend with the peachy, orange Pantone goodness we are seeing popping up at the moment but brings it to us in a more subtle, wearable shade with a moisturizing formula.

Happy Days!

Ahh the joy and simplicity of a lip balm with a splash of fun color for Summer. Dior Addict Lip Balm in Crystal Coral is a moisturizing, nourishing lip balm that has a nice balm-y finish and texture with a soothing, lightweight wear. Dry lips will adore the hydrating feel. There’s nothing tacky, sticky, or heavy here, it’s simply a lovely little balm.

Unlike Addict Lip Glow which is a translucent shade of milky pink that turns a flushing pink on lips, Addict Lip Balm, is actually a coral shade. There isn’t any pH Level secrets here, no perfect shade of you coral, it’s simply a balm with a splash of coral tint to it. The coral shade will vary depending on the shade and pigment of your lips. On my deeper pink lips that color comes across as a natural orange-y peach shade.

I love how easily this makes coral to wear because hey, it can prove sometimes difficult to get just the right shade of coral down. Crystal Coral is a little cooler but should be universally flattering on most any skin tone. The color isn’t loud or outrageous but ventures into the naturally pretty department that’s never over done.

Loves it.

A perfect addition to my Summer wardrobe and yours too if you just can’t wear orange, peach, or coral lipsticks. This is a safe, easy, naturally beautiful one!

Muse Approved for purchase.

P.S. Sadly, it comes across a tad pink in my pictures. My lips are badly chapped at the moment thus the reason why it looks more pink than coral. Apologies.

Dior Addict Lip Balm in Crystal Coral is on counters now and will be available shortly online at www.dior.com

Must. Get. I so badly want to wear coral but it never looks good on me, and I think this being a bit on the cooler side of things might be helpful. I LOVE the feel of the lip glow, so if this feels like that and the color is flattering it might find itself in heavy rotation…or maybe a permanent spot in my purse like my YSL Sheer Candies 🙂

Wow! Super pretty! But I just can’t justify that price for a balm. Looks lovely on you though 🙂

That looks great on you, Muse! Beautiful color! Is the smell similar to the Lip Glow? I purchased the Lip Glow a few months ago and returned it – I couldn’t get past the smell – way too overpowering for me.

aw thanks brooke you’re lovely. It’s a rose scent/taste quite subtle to my nose…!

Reminds me of L’Oreal’s Balm in Caring Coral. Cute packaging though.

It goes more pink on me than coral too, I think that’s just how it is. Love it big time though.

Oh I don’t know which one I want more. This or the Dior lip glow.. What a dilemma!
