Fresh Elixir Ancien Oil

Argan Oil, Maracuja Oil…everyone is tapping into the trend of facial oils lately. They prove a hot commodity to those of us seeking the fountain of youth as what better way to keep our skin looking youthful than by adding more moisture to it.

But I’m not sure I’m willing to spend nearly $300 on a facial oil.

The new Fresh Elixir Ancien Oil is a whooping $260, this oil is handblended in a monastery to preserve the ancient tradition of oil therapy (seriously?). Elixir Ancien is a blend of pure oils and anti-aging extracts designed to help renew the complexion.

Ummm, computer says no, I can’t buy $260 facial oil.

What do you think?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I have this and used it for a short while, at night and I broke out horrible so I stopped using it. Personally no worth the $ there are cheaper things that work well.

Geez! That is insane, I would, however like to see a video these “monks” hand blending the oil. Lol, I love Freshbut the price of this is redonk. They might as well said monkeys in the most distant lands made this and slapped $400 tag on it.
