Fresh Sugar Coral Tinted Lip Treatment Review & Swatches

Oh Fresh, the things you do to me.

Fresh Sugar Coral Tinted Lip Treatment is a new variation of their popular tinted lip balm in a lovely dark peachy coral shade. I’m loving it.

Have you tried it yet?

Take a peek!

Fresh Sugar Coral Tinted Lip Treatment I believe, is possibly, the most pigmented of all the lip treatments I own from the brand. This one is a warm shade of orange-y coral on my lips. I liked it but…somehow…I wanted it to be a little lighter and a little more peachy but overall the shade is right on trend for Spring/Summer 2012.

As with all the Fresh Lip Treatments this sports a sugary lemon flavor and fragrance that’s quite pleasant. It has a nice moisturizing, balm-y texture that creates a nice hydrating feel on lips with a fairly long wear time for both the color and moisture factor. It also contains a dose of SPF 15.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think the price was decreased slightly as I recall these being $24 but they are now $22.50. I do think they might prove a little costly for a tinted lip balm but the quality and formula backs up that price tag.

This one is a delightful little addition to your wardrobe if you’re looking for a warmer shade of orange-y coral for Spring and Summer lip looks. It’s moisturizing, provides just the right amount of color without looking over done, and proves quite wearable for most any skin tone. It’s an easy way to embrace the orange-y tangerine trend we are seeing at the moment.

I likey!

I wished for something a little lighter but the shade still proves lovely none the less.

Hmmm I just ordered this ….I’m pretty fair……hope it looks good I too thought it would be lighter.

They’ve been 22.50 at least since fall 2010 which is when I bought my first one but hey if they are cheaper than they used to be I’m not complaining.

  • Angela N.

Have it! Love it! And yes, it is the most pigmented of their offerings:)

The price has been $22.50 for awhile now (I know b/c I remember thinking “I can’t believe I’m paying $22.50 for this!” when I bought one in rose). Speaking of rose, do you see much difference between the two?

    • the Muse

mm huge difference between the two shades elizabeth 🙂 this is orange-y coral on my lips and rose is a flush of rosy pink on me.

I have too many lip glosses and balms that are close to this shade instead of being the lighter shade I actually wanted so I think I’ll pass on this one. It looks lovely on you, though. 🙂

I practically ordered this on the spot. So glad I am a procrastinator because now I can wait ’till tomorrow and get 15% off. They better have enough in stock. The honey one is a great nude for me and this one has my name ALL over it.

To lighten it a tad I find the BE gloss (peach one) from the first Q TSV with the ready eye duos to do this nicely. 😉

I’m definitely getting it now! I was afraid it wouldn’t be pigmented enough like the other shades that I bought. I love coral shades so I’m sure I’ll love it. It looks very pretty on you and definitely shows up. Thanks (again) for the review and pic. I had it in my shopping bag on Sephora’s website, but kept hesitating. Now when I get up to $50, I’m placing my order.
