MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick Review & Swatches

MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick takes us back to all the things that are good about MAC. Affordable, pigmented, superior formula…yes, Sheen Supreme Lipstick reminds us that MAC has had some misses lately but all in all they know how to do makeup right.

Take a look!

Sheen Supreme Lipstick isn’t a new product but if you never tried them before now is your chance. Not much has changed about the formula and it’s still as incredible as the original, dare I say, even better. The only thing I’d personally change about the launch is the fact that 99% of it contains cream finishes and I hate cream finishes almost as much as I do matte.

Sheen kinda translates to sheer for me for some odd reason, I look at the word and I automatically think sheer but these are anything but. These have incredible pigmentation that applies with a single stroke. The glide is beautiful on lips and even the driest lips will love how easily these slide across lips, leaving behind wet, shiny color in a single stroke. The joy here is the incredible moisturizing, “wet” feel of the lipstick and the great pigmentation of the shades. Rejoice in the fact that these have a really great slide and glide across lips but once applied they also have a good grip and stay in place for at least four to five hours without migrating.

(Sheer Mandarin, Blossom Culture, Korean Candy, Tea Ceremony)

If you love cream lipsticks and really want one with a ton of shine, an easy glide across lips, and plenty of pigmentation, MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick bring it and more. At $14.50 per tube I’d say you’re looking at a great value as well for this quality. These lipsticks are testimony to MAC’s ability to create really incredible makeup for an inexpensive price.

I do wish they’d do more of these with a shimmer finish though.

Likey!

they aren’t really glittery…it’s a bit of shimmer but more of a opalescent/pearlescent…I hope that makes sense ;D

Blossom Culture is a favorite of mine. It’s a great ‘my lips but better’ type of soft shade on me. Korean Candy looks fun 🙂

I actually picked up Fashion City the other day at my local CCO and I’m in love! I honestly didn’t have any high hopes for the duration of wear, but I was pleasantly surprised. 🙂 I also love the way these look on the lips.
