Majolica Majorca Blood On Review & Swatches
Sounds weird doesn’t it? Blood On? But that’s what Majolica Majorca has named its new potted gel blush!
Take a look!
Actually, Majolica Majorca Blood On is a revamp of a long ago product that MJ released entitled Flesh & Blood in Japan. If you’ve been collecting MJ for a while you probably remember Flesh & Blood in the tube format.
In my opinion, Blood On regresses slightly since Flesh & Blood’s packaging was way more hygienic. But on the plus side, I find this formula every so delightful so long as you can get past the packaging. Interestingly enough it looks larger than a tube of Flesh & Blood but actually only houses half the amount of product weighting in at 5 grams versus the 10 gram tube!
Housed in a screw top jar, this is a gel formula which has a hydrating feel. It tints cheeks a delightful shade depending on your skin tone. For me, it goes on a flush of reddish pink but it’ll reflect different depending how much lighter or darker you are. For example, on my sister’s cheeks, it comes across as a brighter, healthier shade of red.
The formula is lightweight, blends easily, and is fragrance-free. Wear time is a little short where as Flesh & Blood had a nice long wear through the day I find Blood On needs a touch up around hour three.
Overall, she proves a lovely little addition to my minimal makeup collection on the days I’m just too lazy to wear anything else but still want to look alive so to speak.
Natural, pretty, and fairly cheap too for around $13 bucks from online sellers. I recommend Gooddealer.com for a purchase as it’ll set you back around $15-$16 which includes shipping.
Muse Approved for purchase.
Aside of the packaging, it’s perfect if you like minimal makeup and healthy blushing cheeks!
P.S. Cut a sister a break, I’m not wearing concealer or foundation, you can see it gives just the right amount of wow to my duller skin.
