Napoleon Perdis Eye Will Survive Primer Review & Swatches

There’s something to be said about an eyeshadow primer that not only holds eyeshadow in place but also successfully acts on its own to create an even, brighter eye look without the aid of shadow application.

Dontcha just love eyeshadow primers that as a concealer for your lid?

I love ’em!

Napoleon Perdis Eye Will Survive Primer is just the trick for working with or without eyeshadow. The choice is entirely up to you.

Napoleon Perdis Eye Will Survive Primer is a paraben-free eyeshadow primer that allows shadow to remain fresh and crease free for hours.

This light beige shade primer has a sponge tip applicator for application and a smooth, creamy feel that blends easily onto lids. I experienced no issues with fading or creasing during my entire shadow wear day (8 to 10 hours). It’s a little heavier than Urban Decay Primer Potion and a good deal thicker but it does the trick well at keeping shadow sticking around quite long.

The thing I really love about it is how it keeps my lids looking fresh and awake even without eyeshadow in place. I’m a big fan of Benefit Lemon Aid as you know so this is along the same idea only in a lighter beige shade that acts as a brightener and concealer all in one for lids. The funny thing is you can go ahead and use a dab under eyes as well if the color suits you as it’ll conceal minor darkness, fine lines, etc…as well as use it above on lids. Cool eh? Love me some multitasking beauty. On the down side it isn’t entirely transparent so it won’t fit darker skin tones but most tones can take advantage including medium and olive.

Napoleon Perdis Eye Will Survive Primer is a multitasking little genius that performs a few functions in one simple tube. It’s a little heavy so I’m not sure it would be my everyday go to primer of choice but I can imagine I’ll use it quite often on days I want to go shadow free but still want the benefits of a bright, smooth lid.

Loves it!

Muse Approved for purchase.

If you love Lemon Aid, you’ll adore this.

Muse, is this from the NP line at target or the one that’s now carried at Nordies?

And can you campare this to the LM Eye basics? it sounds a lot like the same kind of thing!

LOVE IT – this is what I want a primer to do – multitask! me and Alton Brown…..

no hon from the standard NP line. This isn’t NP set from target 🙂 It’s much like LM Eye basics actually almost a dupe of one of the shades, wheat I think, a little thinner in consistency but still fairly creamy! ;-D
