Olay Total Effects Tone Correcting Eye Treatment

I’m not a huge fan of Olay products, am I missing much?

However, I am slightly curious about their new Olay Total Effects Tone Correcting Eye Treatment.

Take a look!

Olay Total Effects Tone Correcting Eye Treatment has a vitamin rich formula that combines the elements of an eye serum with illuminating sheer coverage to give eyes a bright, youthful finish.

The serum end of the formula acts to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and dark circles while firming and hydrating the area.

The idea of an illuminating eye cream is interesting but I typically find anything that claims “radiance” or “illumination” under my eyes tends to make things look worst rather than better.

Olay Total Effects Tone Correcting Eye Treatment is $21.99 and available now at drugstores.

What do you think?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Agree with you Muse. And when you get to my age, you will cower in fear from those terms 🙂 Mainly because “radiance” and “illumination” translates to….”hey everybody, look at my fine lines and slightly crepey eyelids cause I’m shining a spot light on them”. I am curious though about the sheer coverage part. Concealer in the mix? Or something else?

lol deb amen sister exactly. I looked positively scary with anything “glowing” under my eyes. I don’t know who, at any age, can pull that look off. Not sure…was curious perhaps a little yellow to deflect darkness!?

I’m always a bit wary of trying things out that claim to fix every problem found on your face, so i’ll probably wait to see how others get on with this. It will be hard to top my HG eye cream (Caudalie Premier cru) as my dark circles have lightened and, although i’m not ‘illuminated’, I don’t wear concealer anymore and I’m more than happy about that!

i couldn’t really get on board with premier cru, I didn’t feel it was working saara…hmm maybe I need to try it again ;-D!

I don’t look good with glowing under eyes either, but I have to say I do love the Olay microsculpt serum. I can only use it in areas where my skin is dry or I break out but I have to say my skin looks great after I use it.
