Ah the old dark spot corrector….
I thank Clinique every single day for bringing hyper pigmentation and dark spots to the beauty world’s attention. I tried to love their Clinical Dark Spot Corrector but technically it was more about me using it religiously and convincing myself of how great it was working when it actually wasn’t doing much at all.
On the upside, I really appreciate the trend they created because the dark spot world was sadly lacking and now the market is saturated with a slew of options for correcting hyper pigmentation, dark spots, and sun damage. Praise the skincare gods!
I have a small amount of hyper pigmentation I’d like to correct that’s located on my jawline/lower cheek area so I’ve been trying every single dark spot corrector around.
Believe me I’ve been through numerous bottles that promise me the world and by far the best one I’ve tried is Philosophy’s Miracle Worker Dark Spot Corrector.
You NEED this.
Nip + Fab is a collection of affordable beauty fixes from the creator of the more prestigious (and expensive) Rodial line of products. Rodial isn’t a line of products within everyone’s reach as it does run on the pricey side so I feel like Nip + Fab is its affordable little sister that offers a selection of some pretty great little products that I’ve been testing out recently. Recently Nip + Fab has made its home at Target where as prior it was available within the UK.
Here’s some of my thoughts on their Make-Up Fix (hint, I love it!).
You can spend millions of dollars on color cosmetics but they are never going to look right without the proper prepping tools. Prepping prior to cosmetic application is key to allowing your blush, shadow, and lipstick to look its very best.
The new love of my priming life? Nip + Fab Sheer Make-Up Fix.
You NEED it.
Chanel Rouge Coco Shine is one of thee best Chanel lip products I’ve run across. The smooth glide, the shiny finish, the lightweight feel, it all adds up to a loving relationship.
The new bright orange shade entitled Flirt made it on my Spring wish list easily enough but I wasn’t sure I could pull it off, oranges don’t do me well but peaches and corals are my downfall.
Let’s take a look!
Guess who’s back for Easter?
Everyone’s favorite chickie!
Sugar Chick is Philosophy’s version of a sugar coated marshmallow scent in a shower gel format without having to deal with those evil peeps (they plan to take over the world, be ware! Peep apocalypse!).
I miss the cute packaging from last year but happy I can still snatch this one up as it is my all time fav shower gel from Philosophy.
Start celebrating Easter now in your shower.

In very interesting (and appealing to me) marketing technique, Wen has started releasing seasonal scents of the popular Cleansing Conditioner.
Pumpkin made an appearance for Fall and Vanilla Mint for Winter. I personally love this idea as who sticks to the same scents as the seasons change right? We change our clothes to fit the seasons and weather why not our haircare and fragrances right?
Wen Cleansing Conditioner Spring Gardenia launches for Spring with the aroma of lovely gardenia on the wind!
Wen’s rich and moisturizing cleansing conditioners eliminate the need for shampoo & its harsh effects.
The Spring Gardenia scent is available now at qvc.co/Qbeauty
