Sexylook X Hello Kitty Fruity Rose Q10 Lip Essence Gel Review & Swatches

Sexylook has a new range of Hello Kitty themed facial masks and other beauty products that have been released in Taiwan. Being the little kid I am I had to indulge in Hello Kitty beauty items, how could I resist?

Sexylook X Hello Kitty Fruity Rose Q10 Lip Essence Gel was one item in my recent haul.

Take a peek!

It’s so rare that you buy a lip treatment that actually excels at not only hydrating lips but also treating them. I have dozens of lip products that moisturize my lips but very few that actually treat chapped or dry skin.

This lip gel goes above hydrating my lips and also takes on treating them with a nourishing blend of rose hip oil, sweet almond oil, macadamia nut oil, shea butter, honey extract, olive oil and jojoba oil.

The formula is a clear, transparent thicker gel which melts onto lips easily leaving behind a super shiny finish. Although advertised as a fruity rose scent and flavor it actually tastes and smells subtly of coconut and shea, nothing dramatic though.

It replenishes moisture easily but the main appeal is the fact it treats chapped, flaky lips almost instantly. I tend to get very red, flaky lips in the cooler weather and this instantly soothes and softens them. Overnight wearers will notice visibly improvement come morning.

Overall, this is a nifty little lip essence worth picking up if you’re prone to chapped and/or dry lips. Loves the limited edition Hello Kitty packaging too!

Muse Approved for purchase.

I got mine from AlphabeautyUK on E-bay $8 (that includes shipping).

So cute! I can’t even deal with how adorable the packaging is. And it’s always nice to hear about a product that is actually moisturizing and deals with dry/chapped lips. It seems a little pricey for 1 ml but if it really works, then it’s worth it after the mess of useless products I’ve tried.

Okay, I bought some on your recommendation, and it definitely works! Sadly I kinda hate the smell, it’s like an overpowering scented toilet paper scent to me.

Otherwise this would be like, the best thing 🙁

aw sorry SJ! 🙁 I wasn’t too upset by the scent/smell but the facial sheet masks BEWARE they really have the TP going on!
