Vaseline Lip Therapy Y U So Stupid Cute?

Vaseline Lip Therapy 3

My mum is kinda like the dad in my Big Fat Greek Wedding. Ya know, with the Windex? Accept my mum doesn’t think Windex is the cure all, she thinks Vaseline and Vicks Vapor Rub is.

Got a cut? Use Vaseline. Unruly brows? Use Vaseline. Cold sore? Use Vaseline. Crusty, sore nose from a cold? Use Vaseline. Dry elbows and knees? Use Vaseline.

Yeah, old school remedies from Mama Muse.

She right on most accounts, Vaseline really is a nifty little cure all. Now some folks like it, some folks not so much. I don’t mind it which is why I think this little tub of Vaseline Lip Therapy is oh so stupid cute.

Tell me this isn’t cute?

I paid a $1.25 for this little do-dad (I placed a lipstick tube beside it so you can see how tiny it is) at Walgreens several days ago. It’s almost as small as a US quarter! Granted, not exactly travel friendly as you’re not wanting to dip in and apply on the road but very adorable for sitting on your nightstand for application before bed.

Vaseline has always proved really great for curing my chapped, dry lips. Some folks aren’t particularly keen on petroleum but I don’t mind, whatever works eh?

Do you use Vaseline?

Avoid it?

this is soooo adorable! I think I have a size a bit bigger than this one that I left in Chicago, and I totally lost the pot I had around at home, so this would be perfect! I like using Vaseline at night for my lips, they dry out so easily and help heal them if they’ve gotten irritated from the day (super sensitive)

I saw this too! Sooooo teeny and cute. The little asian girl of my childhood is asking, “Mom, can I get this? I need it…for a school project…”

I saw these a couple weeks ago at Target and promptly scooped up a couple of them! I am fine with vaseline – the fact that it’s a petroleum product doesn’t bother me at all. What I plan on doing is scooping out one of them and replacing it with the cocoa butter vaseline, which I actually like a lot better than the regular, and using that.

Sigh… I bought these just because they’re so friggin’ cute! Man, have they got us pegged, or what??? :D

When stocking shelves one night male coworker comes up to me and shows me these. They were new and didn’t have a place yet. But he mentioned liking the way they looked so much and actually getting one. Now you know that’s uber cute if it crosses gender lines.

I haven’t used vaseline in a while, I’m currently using Aquaphor Healing Ointment for dryness. The baby vaseline looks adorable, I’m definitely going to pick a few up. By the way, your mom sounds adorable!

It’s really nice, actually. Not quite as greasy as regular vaseline, but it seems to soak in a bit more, prolly b/c of the cocoa butter in it. Smells pretty good too! :)

This is actually pretty brilliant. I hardly ever use Vaseline, but I should have some in my home. With this, I don’t need a huge jar that I will never even use half of.

Years ago, I managed to get a teeny tin of Vicks. I finally used it up after a few years & couldn’t find another, so I bought a small jar & refilled it. I keep it by my desk to use around the inside of my nostrils with a q-tip when I have a sinus headache.

Ah! So tiny and precious and adorable! I am beyond coherence…

I love Vaseline. I have a regular sized jar and a mini and I always turn to them when my lips and skin are beyond repair. This stuff is like magic. You can keep all your fancy lip scrubs and lip balms. Vaseline has even helped me get over severely chapped lips from product allergies.

Add some cinnamon leaf oil, mix and put back in container and it serves as a hydrating non shiny lip plumper :). I’m waiting on my cinnamon oil to come into try it!
