100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Tinted Moisturizer Review & Swatches

Tinted moisturizer season is on the horizon! I’m not sure I feel like Tinted Moisturizer is the lightest coverage option in the Summer as the formula is always pretty creamy and hydrating. The hydrating factor is what bothers me as if you don’t set with powder it has the potential to feel and look greasy as the day progresses.

I was a little worried about 100% Fruit Pigmented Tinted Moisturizer as it is one of the most creamiest tinted moisturizers I’ve tried.

Take a peek!

100% Fruit Pigmented Tinted Moisturizer is a natural, vegan formula that’s tinted with natural fruit and vegetable pigments. One thing you have to keep in mind with 100% Pure color cosmetics is the shorter expiration time. The tinted moisturizer is good for 12 months however after about six months I noticed the formula started to become a little bit runnier. This deserves mentioning if you’re like me and tend to hoard away two or three different tinted moisturizers, what can I say I like variety? So chances are you won’t use the entire thing before it expires. 100% Pure uses fruit pigments from peaches, apricots, carrots, pomegranates, and more to tint the moisturizer.

On the upside, this is probably one of the more luxurious tinted moisturizers I’ve tried. It’s super creamy and thick in texture. Typically Tinted Moisturizers are creamy but also watery in some aspect, this has a certain density that holds the creamy texture so it smooths on dreamily and absorbs into skin, particularly drier skin, easily. It leaves behind a hydrating feel with a dewy finish. I just love the texture of this!

It’s not terribly pigmented but it does even out skin tone easily and creates a smooth surface for makeup. The formula contains nourishing white tea, acai oil, pomegranate oil and vitamins plus an SPF 20 to protects your skin against the suns harmful UVA and UVB. SPF is a little sparse here but most tinted moisturizers avoid higher coverage less the formula of the moisturizer morphs and/or creates a pasty, white finish once applied due to the Titanium Dioxide in the mix.

This comes in a pump style packaging which I appreciate as I find tubes a little messy. The pump flows easily without pumping out too much product plus it keeps the tinted moisturizer fresh.

Overall, if you’re hunting out something new for your Summer coverage I think you’ll enjoy 100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Tinted Moisturizer. It’s quite a lovely one with a formula that’s sure to please.

    I’ve tried this! I got a tiny sample pot and it was fantastic! Light-medium coverage, evened out my skin tone and washed off easily. My skin felt so soft too! I lovelovelove100% Pure. 🙂 I’d probably stick to just this one so I can use it all up in 6 months.

    Love seeing reviews on the company’s products – and love yours too, Muse! 😀

    OMG I need this! I’ve been looking for a good vegan tinted moisturizer. What color is this, Muse?

    @Jean – Where’d you get a sample pot from?

    I’d so love to try this, I’m just torn about which color to get since I’m always bad at trying to match foundation colors from online images! >.<
