Bare Minerals Advanced Protection SPF 20 Tinted Moisturizer

Hey, look ma, Bare Escentuals now has a tinted moisturizer.

Who would’ve thought?

Bare Minerals Advanced Protection SPF 20 Tinted Moisturizer is a new paraben free formula that protects skin with a hint of color and formula that proves long lasting moisture.

Powered by bareMinerals proprietary ActiveSoil Complex with essential antioxidants and nutritive minerals, this light, silky cream defends against environmental damage while offering lightweight coverage for Summer.

Available in two formulas:

  • Normal to Dry
  • Combination

One of the best parts about it, in my opinion, is the fairly inexpensive price tag of $30 and the pump packaging! Tinted moisturizers are typically in the $40 range and up so this is a pleasant little surprise price wise.

I’m curious.

Very Curious, but they need to ditch the “active soil complex” label…. as an avid gardener, there are a lot of things in the soil I do NOT want on my face! 😀

I DO like that they have 2 formulations – that’s a distinction I’ve not seen in other lines – leastways not that I remember – AND it’s a physical sunscreen! Will have to snoop this out – the sephora VIB thing is still going on so if I like it I’l hafta jump on it and order it with 15% off!

    Thanks for the scoop Muse!

I’m kind of disappointed in the low SPF. Isn’t SPF 25 the standard now? However, I love Bare Minerals. I’m looking forward to the day they come out with a BB Cream.

I didn’t realize that! I guess I’m spoiled by the Aveeno one. Thanks muse.
