Bobbi Brown Long Wear Eye Pencil Review & Swatches

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Eye Pencils, def where it’s at for Summer peeps. If you need something long wearing on both your eyes and waterline these are your girl.

I don’t have a ton of experience with Bobbi’s eye pencils but the ones I have tried aren’t really my cuppa tea but her new Long Wear Eye Pencils, yes please, good stuff all around.

Possibly the nicest bit about these lovely little eyeliners is the soft, creamy formula that smudges easily while wearing long and strong on eyes. I love a creamy liner that applies with minimal fuss, no tugging, and glides on easily and these indeed do just that. They have a super pigmented formula so no retracing your lines here plus they have a buttery smooth formula that glides across lids easily and flawlessly.

I never really have issues on my drier eyes with my liner running, smudging, flaking, or causing general chaos however I typically can’t keep liner on my waterline for very long. Within a four to five hour period I am typical rushing in for a touch up.

Not the case with these….

They wear very strong and long on my waterline and I can get through pretty much my entire day from 9 to 5 without a touch up. I see some minor fading if I head out for the evening so around say 6 or 7 I’m heading in for a little touch up but hey, within that time frame, I’d say that’s an incredible wear. I’ve only run into one other pencil that holds as strong on my waterline and that would be Mally’s Beauty Evercolor Automatic Waterproof Liner.

Jet and Mahogany

Mahogany

Props for a great formula, don’t get me wrong here but I appreciate the creaminess big time but most importantly the wear time really impressed me particularly on the waterline.

Likey!

These earn a spot on my HG (holy grail) list.

I am crazy about these liners. I first got Plum and really love the way they work. During the Sephora Sale I went back and got another Plum then Jet, Mahogany, and Smoke. It’s Love

I’ve been curious about these, but am afraid to stray from my beloved MUFE Aqua Eyes. Any time I’ve tried any other formula, I always come crawling back to MUFE’s with my tail between my legs. How would you say the two compare?

    Hi Muse!

Do you know if these are actually formulated to be safe for the waterline?

And you have tried MAC Chromagraphic (the black), Estee Lauder Kohl pencils, and the new MUFE kohl liner pencils as well on the waterline? I heard good things about these on the waterline but wanted your opinion.

I’m not sure maggie typically I use liner on my waterline so long as it doesn’t have glitter/shimmer and it doesn’t bother me. From my understanding most liners are waterline safe so long as they don’t contain glitter however you might want to check with individual companies by chatting with them via twitter/their website/etc…prior to using on your waterline just to be safe. I know some MAC shades aren’t waterline safe occasionally. I don’t really keep track of which liners are or aren’t.

Oye vey. Haven’t tried them yet but I’m tempted. I currently have several of her gel liners so yeaaaaa. I picked up UD’s Perversion and Demolition during the last Ulta sale. How many black and brown liners does a girl need? * head pallm* lol!

I have the Mahogany and Caviar.

Caviar is not being sold now but was sent to me as a mistake when I ordered something else… go figure… it’s a brownish black.

I LOVE these…. Bobbi’s gel eyeliners were my HG… now these pencils are HG status all the way…. I plan to get the green one next… can’t remember the exact name… I wanted the gray one but these are so pigmented it looked like the Caviar on me… I Love Bobbi.

I think I am having a change of heart about these pencils 🙁 LOVED them at first but now after using them for almost a month I don’t think I am liking them. Very sad about this since I have 5 now. They seem to only draw a Fat line and the sharpening of them is not going so well, why too much product loss. I think I like the Gel liner Much better and Chanel twist up pencils for when I want a pencil Bummed I will say once you have them on they do last but I am finding they are tuff to work with .
