Guerlain Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder Sun Blondes Review & Swatches

There’s something to be said about a bronzer that makes application an absolute breeze. Guerlain Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder is so bronzer for dummies.

A mosaic of delicately scented bronzer shades this one makes it easy to apply and look incredible.

I’m not really great at bronzer application and I don’t particularly love using it because it either makes my dull skin too muddy or too orange.

When I do indulge I tend to mix it up with cheek stain and blush to make it easier to wear.

Guerlain Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder creates the perfect combination of bronzer and color, combines them into a single powder, and makes a delicious shade of warmth for cheeks and face.

Guerlain Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder is available now in four shades and it’s part of the general catalog where as the release used to be seasonal from time to time, Guerlain has now decided to make it available year round.

I recently indulged in Sun Blondes having already owned another shade from a past, limited edition run, I knew I’d love it.

The mosaic powder features plenty of warm shades of golden browns and bronzers plus the added benefit of both pink and peach which allows the bronzer to wear perfectly as both a blusher and a bronzer. I typically combine my bronzer with blush anyway but this takes the need to do out of the equation since it already has built in blush shades.

The color is a deep, warm shade of peachy pink (think NARS Orgasm on steroids). There’s plenty of golden bronze brown in the mix but the peach and pink shades definitely keep things flowing well and instead of a muddy shade of bronzer I end up with a warm, glowing shade of sunny peachy pink on my cheeks and face.

The powder is a finely milled and incredibly silky. It has a delicate scent, not the typical violet scent associated with Guerlain, but something perfume-like so if you’re a bit sensitive do take that into account prior to a purchase. It blends very easily on my face and a little goes a very long way so just a dusting will do it. The wear time is excellent on my drier skin and morning application pretty much sees me through my day and into my evening without nary a hiccup.

This is how I LOVE wearing my bronzer. Not muddy, not too orange, just a healthy sun kissed glow on my cheeks and face with a subtle kiss of shimmer.

Gorgeous!

An easy to wear bronzer for all.

Loves it.
