Iman Luxury Lip Shimmer Review & Swatches

Iman Luxury Lip Shimmer in Impetuous and Flamboyant are my two new must have lipglosses for Spring/Summer 2012.

If you’re wanting to embrace the peachy, tangerine trend for Summer, these two glosses, are absolute must haves.

You NEED them.

Needless to say I love these. They are just my kinda colors. If you adore golden shades of peach and beautiful sunset corals I highly suggest snatching these up.

Impetuous and Flamboyant are to shades featured in the Iman Sweet Temptations collection. The shades are best suited to darker skin types and they’ll really make such a tone pop but I’m fairer and I’m having a blast with them both so I do suggest checking them out in store prior to writing them off.

At $7.99 per gloss they are one cheap thrill! The formula is highly pigmented so the shade you see in the tube is exactly what you’ll be getting on lips. These have a lightweight, non sticky texture that wears for around three to fours in without eating or drinking. They feel quite light on my lips and have a fairly comfortable wear time without migrating issues or dryness. Possibly the best part of the gloss is the incredible color pay off each shade sports, it was a pleasant surprise considering drugstore lipgloss typically runs sheerer.

Ahh the shades…

That’s another perk.

Flamboyant is a fiery sunset coral and Impetuous is a golden fiery peach. These are excellent colors for Summer wear and they fit right in with the current Pantone Color of the Year trend.

Overall, I was delighted with these. Both the color pay off, gorgeous shade selection, and formula proved an excellent little find in the beauty budget world. You couldn’t ask for a richer pigmentation in a lipgloss for under $10 bucks.

Sweet!

You NEED these!

Particularly if you’re all about the current tangerine/coral/peach trend that’s popping up in collections for Summer.

Muse Approved for purchase.

Iman was my first high end cosmetics experience at 14! My mom and i had makeovers done for some photos we were taking. They had a great selection of foundations for more yellow based and darker skintones (love for a girl who inherited her mom’s Viet complexion!), and their eyeshadows are lovely. I haven’t been back to Iman in years…but I might have to start going there again! I love these colours!

Wow, I haven’t heard about Iman cosmetics in ages! I didn’t even know that she still had her own makeup line anymore! I’m a light-skinned gal myself, but I swear by the Black Radiance brand for lip gloss. Why? Because the color is ***incredibly*** pigmented and has amazing staying power. Believe me Muse, you “need” this brand too! 🙂

oh I LOVE black radiance. I remember a swirl mosiac blush they made, I used it through my entire four years of high school, it broke in senior year, I was DEVASTATED!
