L’occitane Pivoine Delicate Eau de Toilette Review

L’Occitane Pivoine Delicate Eau de Toilette has launched! The makeup line is to follow shortly (which I’m terribly excited about). L’occitane has had a rendition of Pivoine in the works before but this version is a more delicate, refined version, an eau de fraiche if you will.

Let’s have a look at L’occitane Pivoine Delicate Eau de Toilette and see if you need it.

I’m not typically a floral fragrance lover but L’occitane always manages to capture romance and proceeds to place it in a bottle.

Pivoine Delicate is a tender celebration of the peony flower with fresh green notes, rose, lily of the valley, and a soft, powdery finish.

Peony seems to play oh so wonderfully well with rose which chooses to dominate the scent but a tickle of peony in the background captures the fragrance and gives it an enchanting little edge. The powdery dry down is the perfect compliment to the scent. It reminds me of the scent of a chic, French facial powder, all roses, peonies, and delicate powder!

L’Occitane has improved vastly on their EDT formulation because I find the scents are lasting longer on me with each new release. They aren’t nearly as strong as an EDP but they aren’t as short wearing as they once were either so a few spritzes can get you very nice throw and a wear time of at least four hours in before a touch up is needed. Quite good considering I used to get an hour at most from the formula.

L’occitane Pivoine Delicate is a most perfect combination of romantic, feminine notes!

This one I must Muse Approved for purchase.

I love this one!

Available now at L’Occitane Boutiques or online at usa.loccitane.com

I must get my hands on the shimmering powder.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I actually tried this at the mall earlier tonight and didn’t love it (then again I didn’t really like last year’s version, plus I don’t like powdery scents so I don’t know what I was expecting). Hopefully I’ll like something from the makeup line!
