L’Oreal Colour Rich Lipstick Rose Agate Sparkling Coral It’s Gold or Nothing Review & Swatches

L’Oreal has two new shades of Colour Rich Lipstick released with their new Summer 2012 Collection, It’s Gold or Nothing. I don’t typically obsess over drugstore lipsticks but I loved these shades so much they positively begged me to post on them.

Take a look!

If you’re looking for a wearable shade of tangerine/corally goodness look no further as L’Oreal Color Rich Lipstick in Sparkling Coral is your girl. This gorgeous shade is a fiery burnt orange that has golden sparkles in the mix. It’s a cross between orange/tangerine/and coral all in one. The color applies a lot more subtly on lips than what you see in the tube which makes it a super wearable shade if you’re wanting to embrace the Color of the Year trend.

Rose Agate is the perfect and most easiest shade of golden beige I’ve ever owned. If you love nude lips with a bit of sparkle and just the a tiny hint of nude rose, this shade will be your BFF. I typically steer clear of nude lips even though I love the look of the trend, I can’t personally pull it off. Rose Agate makes it entirely possible to sport a gorgeous nude lip with very minimal fuss and no zombie-walking dead-like finish here.

Rose Agate and Sparkling Coral

Sparkling Coral

Rose Agate

The formula on Colour Rich have always had a fairly easy glide across lips with a nice glossy sheen as the finish. They have a strange, florall-y taste but I find it goes away quickly after application. For drugstore lipstick they prove an all around fairly decent formula with quite a nice glide across lips.

But, I beg to say, it’s the two colors from this collection that captured my heart. I love them both and highly suggest tracking them down as they are available for a limited time with this release.

Very Muse Approved for purchase.

Love ’em both.

Do add them to your Summer wardrobe I think you’ll adore them as much as I do.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. whoa! i kind of want. and i usually am not that crazy about l’oreal lipstick. the formula’s ok, but they need a serious packaging update, for reals.

Rose Agate is pretty! Hopefully my CVS will get these in, I’ve got some extra bucks and I wouldn’t mind using them to try out L’Oreal’s formula.

I like a lot of shades that L’oreal have on their lipsticks, but i can’t stand the smell, also with rimmel and Maybelline. It’s like a plasticky artificial flavoring smell that i can’t stand. I really hope they will take those fragrances out of the formula.

You are looking so pretty, as always, Ms Muse! 🙂

They both look great on you. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

Both of this are purrrttyy!!! I only have 2 L’Oreal lipsticks. Revlon being my favorite drugstore lipsticks. I may have to check these out, especially the coral!

Is the shimmer gritty at all? That’s my biggest pet peeve with shimmer and glitter lipsticks, also why I don’t wear them usually!

    • the Muse

not gritty but when the lippie wears away you’re left with a little bit of what I like to call glitter around the mouth :-/

How right you are Muse, as ususal! My best lipstick purchase in some time. It was love at first sight when I swiped on sparkling coral. A new fav!
