MAC Tres Cheek Review & Swatches Lovecloud, Modern Mandarin, Peony Petal
MAC Tres Cheek is a selection of six shades of satiny blush to add to your Spring and Summer palette.
Oh so smooth, oh so easy to blend…me likey!
I thought I’d be terribly disappointed with the satiny finishes on these. Let’s face I’m the self titled shimmer queen around these parts but satin is nice sometimes. Although chalky in swatches these lovely little blushes have a smooth easy to blend formula. The joy is the buildability…I made that word up, well maybe not, some makeup company did. These go from sheer to extra bright in a few pats of your blush easily, flawlessly, simply.
If I’m honest, I’ll say in the pan many of these shades look a bit boring and uneventful. The formula is a tad chalky on swatch and looks almost semi-matte in formula however they blend out so beautifully and build in a snap for a brighter more vibrant pay off than what you’re seeing in the pot. Moral of the story?
Looks are oh so deceiving!
Modern Mandarin is my favorite in the lot, me being all obsessed with oranges at the moment that’s no surprise. It’s a reddish orange that goes on delightfully peachy on my medium fair skin.
Other shades I tried out were Lovecloud a bright pink with a sheerer formula that would prove loveliest on fairer skin and Peony Petal which is a brighter blue based pink.

I need to get to my local counter to snatch up Immortal Flower before it’s gone, I need that one.
