My Beauty Diary Orange Blossom & White Lotus Sleep Concentrate Review

It’s been a while since I blogged My Beauty Diary, mark it as a celebration and call in Joe and Ariel sexy time, watch out guys, you might fall off the balcony!

Phew, so damn hot in here now.

Haul out the My Beauty Diary Orange Blossom & White Lotus Sleep Concentrate to cool my skin off.

I’ve reviewed a few formulations of these Sleep Concentrates before and wasn’t terribly impressed with them. The Orange Blossom & White Lotus promises the same incredible formula as the rest but comes across more of a cutesy purchase than a practical one. Don’t sit there shaking your head like you never purchased beauty because it was cute. I know your secrets.

My Beauty Diary Orange Blossom & White Lotus Sleep Concentrate is a fresh floral scented watery gel formula that can be used as an overnight treatment mask or a lightweight moisturizer. To use it as a sleep mask simply apply a generous amount to face, pat into place, and head to bed. In the AM, wash it off. It promises a multitude of good stuff like brightening abilities as well as hydrating ones but honestly, my skin is way to dry to really see much difference in terms of moisture and brightening was definitely not to be had here.

The formula contains Aquaxyl which promises to replenish moisture in your skin while increasing its ability to retain it but it doesn’t technically work for dehydrated, drier skin like my own. Perhaps combo or oily skin will see better results.

The gel comes in a sweet lace embellished peach jar and includes a small spatula so you dont have to use your fingers to apply. Packaging is cute but it does have a flimsy feel to it.

As a daily moisturizer simply apply a thin layer on your face and press the palms of your hands against your skin to allow the product to absorb. I find it works nicely during warmer weather or when you prefer a super lightweight moisturizer. Oily skin will definitely find it appealing since it absorbs easily without leaving a greasy feel or an oily finish behind.

Sadly, I experienced no great benefits in terms of hydrating with this used in the day or as a sleep mask. My skin is awfully dry and this simply doesnt cut it for long term moisture. Ive tried and used far better Asian gel moisturizers and sleeping masks that had better results.

It’s sadly just a cute purchase but not a very practical one.

AlphaBeautyUK on E-bay carries much of the Beauty Diary Skincare and Mask Collection.

this has nothing to do with the review, and more to do with Ariel Lin’s dramas lol. If you haven’t watched “In Time with You”, you should definitely get to it, missy!~! It’s one of the better ones to watch, plus, it’s more mature and I’m sure we can relate to it at least a little. Also, LOVE LOVE LOVE the main character guy. I wish more of him existed.

Anyway, love your blog always! I read it all the time!
