The Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Airbrushing Kabuki Brush is the type of brush you get three of. That’s right, splurge, go get three, hell, get four…use one for your creams, one for your liquids, and ones for your powders and minerals and set aside one for a back up just in case you’re ever without this most beloved brush.

This chunky round barreled brush has super short, dense bristles and allows you to buff creams, powders, liquids, and other bases into your skin to a flawless finish.

Amazing!

It can be most compared to the brush that comes with one of my very favorite foundations, Bourjois Paris Mineral Matte Foundation.

The dense bristles are the key to the airbrushed effect here as you don’t have useless, floppy bristles that try to buff product into your skin but just end up making a mess. These bristles fit close to your skin and allow you to buff product in fully for a lightweight, airbrushed, flawless finish.

It pretty much works with all bases perfectly!

Physicians Formula doesn’t exactly have a great track record with brushes. The ones included with their compacts are awful. They shed, they are scratchy and uncomfortable on skin, and just a general nightmare. So count me surprised and quite delighted how amazing their first foray into the beauty tool world went!

Moral of the story?

This an essential brush and everyone should own it.
