Softymo Super Point Make Up Remover Review

Softymo Super Point Make Up Remover why you such a FAIL? Seriously, you make a guest starring appearance in Asian beauty magazines across the board but I don’t understand your hype?

You’re a stinker, sorry, no likey!

Softymo Super Point Make Up Remover is an essence-like formula that promises to remove eye makeup gently and effectively. Being a rather big fan of the Softymo Collection myself I knew I had to try it.

Several years ago I purchased my first bottle and proceeded to buy a second because I really needed to know I wasn’t going insane. Maybe the first bottle didn’t work because the formula was off, maybe it was a fluke! I had to purchase another.

Well, I was right the formula does suck.

Here’s the story….

This is an essence-like formula, sorta part gel, part watery liquid…it’ll gently remove minimal eye makeup and leave eyes refreshed and hydrated.

But did you capture the keyword?

Minimal.

If you wear lighter eye makeup you’re in luck, this will easily remove it without a hiccup.

I don’t personally fall into that category.

I wear eyeliner, waterproof mascara, eyeshadow, etc…and this simply doesn’t cut it when I want to remove all that gunk from my eyes at the end of the night.

I appreciate the gentle, hydrating formula and I find the formula very novel but sadly, all the raving that surrounds this little guy is hype.

Sadly, it doesn’t work.

No likey.

Only the minimal eye makeup users need apply here.

Sasa.com carries much of the Softymo product line.

…I just bought this recently but haven’t opened it up yet to use. I hope I’m not going to regret this.

I didn’t like this too! It totally stung my eye! 🙁 Disappointing considering the rest of the Softymo range is so fantastic!

Hi! I’m on my second bottle of this Softymo Super Point and I must say that I didn’t like it in the beginning because here is how I used it: pour contents in hand and rub over entire face like a cleansing oil. OK – that was wrong and didn’t work, haha! So next, I tried using the cotton pads and here is how I did it: pour some on to cotton pad and press on eye while pushing lashes upwards against upper lid – leave on for a minute or so and mascara becomes soft and washes off with a regular face foam in shower. It has been working for me since as long as I have the patience to wait and remove my makeup step by step. On those days when I am in a hurry, I just use the Softymo Speedy Oil… I don’t know if my way of using it will convince you to give this poor thing another chance! I might be mistaken but I believe this thing won an award from Cosme?! Anyway, just my thoughts on this product that seems to only be working for me… lol. Thank you for reading my comment and have a nice day! 🙂
