About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I love the packaging on these. I have never bought one, but I wish I had them all!

I’d love to know if this is like any existing Amazonian Clay blushes, either in the permanent line, or one from a QVC kit. Specifically, how does it compare to Tickled, which was part of a QVC kit?

I was JUST looking at this on the sephora website, ok well actually the blush and lipgloss combo set. Really I feel like i “need” to use my 15% code and won’t be making it into the store so i always spend more to get free shipping (case in point, what i really wanted was just a clinique lipstick)

I got this & sent it back. It’s so similar to other tarte blushes I have that I couldn’t justify keeping it. I wanted to love it but i didn’t.

I bought this in Natural Beauty and Exposed -the former is a blush-y strawberry red and the latter a peachy nude. I was semi-inspired by Adele’s makeup and ‘sculpted’ my face with a swipe of Exposed under my cheekbones and a touch of NB above. I had to buff the Natural Beauty in with the Tarte finishing powder since I was a little heavy handed with it.
I really like these and will keep them.

Just received this set. I haven’t worn them yet, but swatched on my hand. Very pretty. The blush swatches coral on the hand. Hope it looks coral on the face. The lipgloss is very pretty and the lipsurgence lip tint is pretty, but a little on the light side. All in all, I definitely recommend. Planning to wear all three today.

Did wear all three products from the collection today. VERY pretty! I’m thrilled that the blush is a matte finish. It’s a very pretty coral shade, although it doesn’t look so coral in the pan. I put the lip tint on and applied the iipgloss over it. Very happy with this set. Don’t hesitate to purchase. I think it’s still available on Tarte’s website, but I think it’s already out of stock on Sephora’s website.

Gah, I thought I had found my absolute perfect HG blush with tarte’s Amazonian Clay blush in Exposed, but now… I’m really dying to see the swatches for this one, Muse…!!

    Thanks Joan!
I wonder if this set is available at Ulta b/c they are having 20% off this week. I’m going to look and then i’ll get from tarte’s site! thanks for the heads up

For anyone who wants this set, QVC has it on today for an event price of $34 and change, then it goes up to the normal $42 price that it sells for on Sephora’s and Tarte’s websites.
