Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss Free Spirit and Dreamer Review & Swatches

There’s something natural happening today, on my mouth, courtesy the new shades of Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss in Free Spirit and Dreamer launching this June.

How do they make getting the Kim K nude look so easy?

Let’s not care and just celebrate we can finally achieve the perfect nude pout! Deal?

I’ve reviewed Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss before but since it is newly launched, officially to BE I’ll recap.

This gloss originally had a launch on QVC in Bare Minerals set. I’m unsure if Free Spirit and Dreamer have been released in sets prior on QVC auto delivery as hey, I bet you think I purchase all those sets dontcha? But nope, I don’t have them all sadly.

The formula on these has a comfortable bit of tackiness that allows them to wear quite long. I find the overall formula considerably nicer than some of the original shades I tried. I’m not sure what changed here as I remember trying them in a set and having a little problem with patchiness during application. Perhaps BE has had a chance to perfect the formula because as of now they are quite lovely. They have a strange minty type of taste, not spearmint, not peppermint, but something else? I find it pleasant and tingly on my lips however if you’re sensitive just be aware they do have a minty scent and taste.

Free Spirit and Dreamer

Free Spirit

Dreamer

I absolutely adore these shades. I can’t do nude too well without looking living dead girl but these two colors are ideal shades of delicious nude.

The colors will be available in June with a new Supernatural campaign that Bare Minerals is heading up that embraces natural, flawless beauty.

Overall, I highly recommend adding both Free Spirit and Dreamer to your stash if you’re a lover of nude, natural lip looks. These are too very wearable shades that make a nude lip easy to wear.

Loves ’em!

Muse Approved for purchase.

The Bare Minerals Supernatural Collection for Summer 2012 will launch at Ulta, Sephora, and other retails starting in June as well as online at bareescentuals.com

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I am one of the BE cult members…lol…I ain’t ashamed to admit it. So I have some of these, and I like them.

Here’s a thought for people who find the tingle of the Buxom glosses too much: this gloss is less tingly than the Buxom product. So if you want the Buxom tingle “taken down a notch”, this product will probably make you happy.

Personally, I do not find Buxom glosses overpowering, so I buy both kinds. 🙂

And AS USUAL, half the reason these look so great on the screen is due to your genetically gifted, super-lovely lips. You are blessed, ma belle!

kate you’re going to inflate my ego ;-D thank you, you’re way TOO kind!!!!!!!!!!

I kinda dig both myself, I really enjoy buxom! I wish they all came with a brush applicator though instead of a sponge, I can never seem to build them as well with the rubbish sponge! ;D

WOW those do look good. It’s hard for me to do nude too, I’m really pale. I will look these up! Which was your fav color (it’s a little hard to see the diff in the photos)?

I LOVE both tiffany ;-D they are GREAT shades! and that’s from someone who really isn’t to nude glosses ;D

I really love the moxie from BE. That being said, I love all lip gloss and stains and lipsticks. But these are way over the top in my book and worth every penny. I also purchased the Loreal color riche lip balm and must say, they are as good as the clinique brand and at half the price…bu buy clinique. lol. Also, I purchased the Loreal color riche lipstick you all raved about..and again a big thumbs up.
