Bath & Body Works Wild Garden Fragrance Mist Review

I just recently tried the Bath & Body Works Fine Fragrance Mist for the first time…I have to say it’s rather impressive. Is it me or does it linger a good deal longer than the original body mists?

My body chemistry sucks up anything by Bath & Body Works and makes it undetectable within 30-60 minutes of application so I’m kinda digging that I got a longer wear from the new Fine Fragrance Mist.

The Wild Garden Collection is a selection of new floral blends that Bath & Body Works released for Spring 2012 that bring together sweet fruity notes combined with elements of soft, delicate floral notes.

Let’s take a look!

Bath & Body Works Wild Apple Daffodil Fine Fragrance Mist
This is a blend of crunchy red apple, delicate daffodils, and fresh pomegranate that creates a soft fragrance for day use. Both the apple and pom notes create a delicate background for the prominent notes of daffodils which dominate this fragrance with a flirty softness that’s very fresh. If you prefer more dominate floral notes this is a good pick for you as the fruits play softly in the background with adding too much fruitiness or sweetness to the blend.

Bath & Body Works Wild Berry Tulips Fine Fragrance Mist
This is a flirty little blend of red raspberry, sheer honeysuckle and pink tulips. Again, floral notes do dominate here with a touch of fresh greens but raspberry adds a trickle of fruitiness without every being too sweet or overpowering. The scent rounds out as being both cheery and playful!

Bath & Body Works Wild Citrus Sunflower Fine Fragrance Mist
My very first “grown up” fragrance was Elizabeth Arden Sunflower and this reminds me of it a little bit. Sunny, sparkling notes of cheerful sunflowers is combined with complimentary citrus-y notes of white nectarine and clementine to create a super light, fresh, and happy fragrance here.

If you like your florals with a little hint of fruit and plenty of freshness the new Bath & Body Wild Garden Collection proves very wearable. The scents are all very Spring-like and ideal for daily wear as they aren’t cloying or overpowering in the least.

I’m mighty impressed with the fine fragrance mist formula as I mentioned above. It seems to have a strong wear, a longer linger, and a nicer throw than the original formula.

Anyone try it yet?

At first I didn’t like these, but after a few trips and sniffs I actually do.

One of the reps said that the new sprays have more fragrance oils in them, so they do last longer. I have noticed this with the pink chaffon spray.

I am trying to be good and wait for the semi annual sale to nab these fun sprays.

Like you, Muse, Sunflowers was one of my first grown-up fragrances so I was immediately drawn to Wild Citrus Sunflower. However, I ended up buying Wild Berry Tulips as it meshed better with my body chemistry. However, none of them lasted very long on me.

I’m excited about the new Malibu fragrance, though. I got a bottle for free (w/purchase) last week at their event.

aw sorry to hear kim! typically it’s like misting with water when I used the old formulation but this newer one lasts a good deal longer…however not as long as an EDT or EDP.

Oh do tell, what’s it smell like?

I’m holding a grudge against B&BW for discontinuing my beloved Wild Honeysuckle..but maybe just maybe I will go give these a try.
