Baviphat Lemon Whitening Sleeping Pack Review

Baviphat Lemon Whitening Sleeping Pack, y u so damn kawaii!

I have such a thing for skincare packaged in fruit shaped jars.

What the hell is wrong with me?

You can’t even really take skincare serious that’s shaped like a lemon right?

But…but…it’s so damn cute!

Housed, in a cute lemon shaped jar, Baviphat Lemon Whitening Sleeping Pack is supposedly formulated with rich Vitamin C rich lemon extra and Arbutin.

You apply it as an overnight mask which means you’ll be sleeping in it. The texture is thick and almost gel-like with a slightly sticky feel once applied. I always get questioned about sleeping packs and how exactly you’re suppose to wear one to bed. It’s fairly easy as you’re simply applying as you would a moisturizer but you’re using a bit more. You’ll want to massage on a thin layer, sleep in it, and wash it off in the AM.

With regular use it promises to diminish dark spots and freckles while evening out skin tone.

I used mine for a month straight and never experienced any such phenomenon. Heck, it didn’t even ease my dullness.

Although, I do love trying to convince myself how amazingly it works.

Bah!

Baviphat is a cute Korean brand with a good deal of fun offerings that you might wish to discover for yourself however, I suggest avoid some of the sleeping packs, they don’t seem to work.

Don’t be a sucker like me and get lured in by the cute packaging.

Imomoko.com has started selling the Baviphat line for fairly reasonable prices.

Tried it?

Do share!

Discovered a sleeping pack that actually does work?

I’d love to hear about it!

I love this brand’s packaging! In my head it sounds like “Babyphat” but I know that’s not right 🙂 I’ve heard great things about their lib scrubs…maybe those are a bit more effective? I would totally try this anyway just because of the packaging 🙂 Thanks for the review, hun!

haha me too hapa I always think baby phat ;-D they are ok, the peels are nice too but some stuff is useless! my pleasure!

I love sleeping packs! I don’t know if any of mine DO anything really yet, but it’s nice xD

I ordered the Baviphat AC Apple sleeping pack, don’t know if it’s supposed to be good or not but I love apple and like you said, it’s cute!

So far I have Etude House Missing U sleeping pack and The Face Shop White Tree Snow sleeping pack. I’ve been hoarding the heck out of Korean skincare lately though, got several wash off masks as well and I am awaiting a couple moisturizers too xD

Do you have any other recommendations for Korean skincare, especially sleeping packs? I’m all ears xD

the apple is ice tammie ;-D but yeah, sometimes sleeping packs aren’t doing much ;-D gosh I have tons! take a peek through the archives hun you’ll find a gazillion things to lem! ;-D btw happy momma’s day!

Good to hear that it’s good :). It’s weird, you’d think sleeping masks would be the best because supposedly when you sleep is when your skin repairs itself, and it’s on your face real good for 7-8 hours…but I guess crummy formula is crummy formula! I’ll take a peek at the archives now 😉

        Aww thanks!! <3

I’ve never tried a sleeping pack, how would that work if you’re bad like me and you sleep on your face?

    • the Muse

it’s fine, you apply as you would a moisturizer tiffany…so even if you sleep on your face it won’t get on your pillow or anything..!

      • Tammie

Just don’t get too sweaty lol. I usually am fine (I sleep on my face) but the other night I got too hot and my face kept sticking to my pillow! Not messy or anything, just had to peel my face off of it.

Did they reformulate this? I tried one about 1-2 years ago and it actually dries matte eventually but it did give me nice results that I wanted to repurchase… bah.

Otherwise I do like the O’slee one but that one is sticky.

I haven’t tried the lemon sleeping mask, yet. I have the Paprika sleeping mask (the one in the cute green pepper); it only promises to hydrate and it does that beautifully. It will definitely be a product I use the next time I fly to help keep my skin from getting all flaky in those pressurized tin cans (decanted into a tiny little container, of course!)

I`m really suprised it doesn`t work on you! I read tones of info `bout that sleeping pack; sure the reviews were different. I firstly took the sample (mini version) and it dried away some of my pimples just for one night! As to the red after-acne spots on my forehead, they also became a bit duller.
So I`m about to buy a full version.
BTW Apple AC sleeping pack did nothing to me but made my skin a little bit more drier.
