Speaking of Japanese products, last week I picked up a bottle of Softymo’s Hyaluronic Acid Makeup Cleansing & Facial Foam. Have you tried it? I really like it!

I didn’t know that Canmake started doing cream eyeshadow …one more thing to look out for when I go home. Also am interested in Addiction’s version as well…have you ever tried the brand Muse?

yeah, they have a whipped mousse one as well for Summer. I haven’t tried addiction but those eye lacquers look amazing…did you see the red one!?

Yes! That’s what caught my eye first. I normally can’t do power eyeshadow red but I might try this one…addiction magic might do its wonders : ) I’m looking forward to swatching that color.

have you tried any of the addiction line yet? I’ve been kinda sorta tempted but the shades haven’t always caught my attention until now…! I wish I can swatch before I buy :-/ but I think it’ll be a winner either way maybe with a little black liner ;-D

I have a few eyeshadows (one of my favorites), blushes and have tried quite a few products by stalking the counters :) The star products are supposed to be the eyeliners, but I never caved because they don’t have refills. They are super soft and glides easily, though.
I’m going home this summer; would you like me to send you some swatches as a reference then; )?

          • 5/2/12 9:59 the Muse:

hey again! Are you from Japan? curious minds ;-D I’d love some swatched that would be brilliant. I dunno why but the brand never caught my attention until seeing those eye lacquers ;-D

  • 5/2/12 10:15 midori:

    Yep, I’m originally a Tokyo girl : )
I understand, though…I wasn’t into the brand when it first launched but it gradually became one of my favorites. Seems that I need to convert you ; )

that’s awesome, where do you live now full time? Def…! convert away ;-D It’s hard b/c promo images look boring but seeing the shades in photos on blogs and suddenly things get tempting ;-D! did you see the new lavshuca sets? little uneventful but ended up purchasing the natural shade one out of curiosity ;D!

Currently In the big apple :) I don’t like the promo pictures either, especially the autumn/winter collection of last year but I ended up getting most of the eyeshadows. I’d certainly recommend believing the blog photos; )
I’ve just checked the new collection! I like the look of the natural one, too…kind of reminds of me of Magie Deco’s Maple Sugar quint.

you are? we should have lunch or din! le sigh magie deco! I wish it wasn’t so costly! i like the natural one too ;-D I agree, b/c seriously those promo images look so damn dull ;D! anything else you’re lemming from Japan this Summer? when was the last time you were home and how long have you lived in NY?

  • 5/2/12 10:57 midori:

Would LOVE to have lunch or din with you!
My lemming list is: Three quads, Est quads, and the shu uemura summer collection…the list goes on. I’m thankful that Lunasol doesn’t interest me this year. I’m afraid of looking at AQ MW because of the prices (Magie Deco is expensive enough!).
I haven’t been in New York for so long yet, and I make annual visits to Japan.

not too bad a list ;-D I don’t think I saw SU Summer yet..or have I? I haven’t been keeping up with the line lately…I did recently purchase the lucent whitening base though. How do you like NY? Imagine you’re right at home, not as many people as Tokyo though ;-D I thought I knew city life until I visited Tokyo, I was shell shocked!
