L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow Pink Sapphire Review and Swatches
Ok, don’t kill me, I kinda sorta fell out of love with L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow. It’s a little too frosty for me sometimes and it looks super cakey on no matter how light handed I am.
But facts is facts, it really does have a super formula for drugstore eyeshadow.
How are you currently feeling about them?
Let’s take a look at one of the new shades released for Summer, Pink Sapphire.
I’ve already reviewed L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in a prior post so I won’t get into a ton of details in this post about the formula as I just wanted to show you Pink Sapphire.
Pink Sapphire is a is a gorgeous true pink shade released with the L’Oreal Summer 2012 Collection. I’m unsure if L’Oreal has plans to include this in the regular catalog but I’m betting it is LE so grab it now before it is gone.
I thought the shade was gorgeous and quite a welcome change as many of the colors available are pretty dark. This is a fresh shade of metallic pink that will pair up nicely with browns and bronzes. Try lining your eyes with a golden bronze shade, it’ll pop nicely with this pink.
I have a love/hate relationship with the formula. I really loved them on my first try when they released but I find I avoid using them since no matter how lightly I apply they always look really heavy on my eyes (as you can see in the photo below it really looks like I slathered on a ton of eyeshadow).
But as I mentioned above, they are probably some of the nicest eyeshadows you’ll find at the drugstore and quite affordable too.
Did you grab Pink Sapphire yet?
