Make Up For Ever Eye Prime Review and Swatches
Sorry Urban Decay, Make Up For Ever Eye Prime is my bestest primer friend.
Finally, I’ve found a new eyeshadow primer.
You’ve heard me rant a plenty that Urban Decay Primer Potion just seems to have changed in a major way. This has been my HG (holy grail) primer since it was released. It just WORKED….! After the squeeze tube released I noticed a change in the formula. Not only did the texture change but the formula appeared to as well as it simply wasn’t holding my eyeshadow as strong as it once did.
I’ve been searching out eyeshadow primers ever after….!
Make up For Ever Eye Primer is now replacing my Urban Decay Primer.
It’s love!
This lid primer has a medium texture that isn’t too thick and not to thin. It’s a transparent fleshy nude shade that applies easily on lids. This blends out just as well as my UDPP with a soft, even finish that isn’t wet, dewy, or too matte. It just blends seamlessly into skin and becomes part of it. It’s lightweight and provides a smooth, workable canvas for eyeshadow.
Shadows will apply on top of it as if you’re working on bare skin. I’m always selective about primers since some of them create a less than smooth surface on skin resulting in cakey eyeshadow wear. This melds beautifully with skin and creates a perfect smooth area that’s skin-like in appearance, moral of the story, you can’t tell you have it on.
The wear?
Perfection.
It sets eyeshadow for all day wear. I wore from morning until late night, at least 13 hours, with creasing, fading, or any other hiccups in between.
I love it.
My new HG (holy grail).
Very Muse Approved for purchase.
Available now at Sephora and Sephora.com
If you tried it, do share your love (or not).
