For Summer 2012 Covergirl Eye Enhancers get a revamp. Yes, that is Taylor Swift in the promo image on the display!
Crazy right? Doesn’t even look like her!
These new Eye Enhancer Palettes have four shades of complimentary shades for a variety of eye colors. I know I’ve mentioned it before but I’m not really a lover of palettes that claim to contain shades suitable for my eye color, I’d rather pick and choose the shades I enjoy using not ones that a brand picks for me meh!
I think the original Eye Enhancer Palettes weren’t all that fabulous but of course, that’s just from looks alone on my part as I didn’t actually try them.
Quick heads up on drugstore makeup Summer 2012 Collections. This whimsically polka dotted collection features brand new MAC Shade & Smoke Shadow/Liner as well as essential fan favs like Pro Longwear Lipcremes, Nail Lacquers, and more!
To celebrate the launch here’s a little Q&A with Beth Ditto, some behind the scene photos of her shoot with MAC, and she shares her favorite MAC pick, obvious one right? Can you guess?
The MAC Casual Colour Collection is quite an exciting release from the brand this Summer as it not only brings us a brand new product from MAC, Cheek Colour Pots, but also something we can really make use of as the warmer approaches as hey, who doesn’t love lightweight cream blushes in the Summer?
Cheek Colour Pots most definitely look like the new Korres Cheek Butters I recently featured on Musings but with a far nicer price tag of $20 versus $25. I’m curious if they’ll prove bigger…!
Without further commentary for me, here’s Casual Colour for Summer 2012.
I was vaguely curious about the new Lavshuca Pure Blossoming Eyes Limited Edition Set released for Summer 2012 in Japan.
Lavshuca favors these little sets lately and hasn’t really updated with a major release in a while. I haven’t been following the brand lately since they release so many repetitive shades just in a new stylish way. It’s easy enough to get excited about a new design and packaging but sometimes I have to remind myself that the shades aren’t unique at all.
The Pure Blossoming Eyes Set is an example of repetitive shades however it did contain Clear Stay Eye Base which intrigued me so I ended up heading in for a purchase.
Perricone MD No Concealer Concealer might be a mouthful to say or perhaps a little ridiculous to say out loud yes? But there’s no joke about this SPF enriched concealer that not only protects eyes but treats them with a formula packed with good for you ingredients.
