Pixi Succulent Lip Twin Review & Swatches

Pixi Succulent Lip Twin combines cheeks and lips into a single product. Dontcha love the convenience of a two in one you can easily travel with?

Perfect Summer treat for your lips and your cheeks.

Take a look!

This dual little tube contains a lip loving gloss in the tube and a lip and cheek creme located in the cap.

Nifty eh?

I tend to want to travel with my entire makeup makeup collection so products like this are ideal for me as they combine two items that I commonly use into a single package.

The tube contains a moisturizing, shiny lip gloss. Although you have to rely on application with your fingers here (not a fan of finger application) you can easily overlook the flaw as the formula is pretty darn nice (I wish I had taken some lip pics with this shade on as it’s gorgeous and oh so pigmented). The formula is very nourishing on my lips and keeps them hydrated through the entire wear. It’s a slightly thin, watery texture but it manages to have an incredible color pay off so the shade in the tube is exactly what you get on lips! It’s incredibly shiny with a high glossy finish. All that color and all that shine makes for a lovely popping look on lips.

Inside the cap you’ll find a dome shaped cheek stick. This can be used on lips or face. Personally I felt it was a little drying on my lips plus I didn’t like the idea of using a product on both my lips and cheeks so I stuck to cheeks with this one. It creates a nice flush of color on my cheeks and has a nice pop to it in the shade I tried.

Overall, the Pixi Succulent Lip Twin satisfies my need to tote two products along with me for touch ups. It offers an easy way to get a natural flush on cheeks with a highly shiny pigmented pout to go along with it. I liked the one I tested out so much I ended up ordering three more shades. My only compliant is the lack of colors, this only comes in five shades.

Likey!

Muse, that’s my complaint with the whole Pixi line! Not enough color diversity, and (I can’t believe I am even saying this) too much pink! I love the cheek stain for example, but I wish they would branch out the colors a little more.

This seems like it would get really gross after only a couple of uses. Do you find that it is a product you can use for a while? Looks like it could get messy fast.

no issues yet kim, been using them several months now 🙂

I’ve noticed quite a few of my comments don’t get approved but I hope this one does. The color of this is so beautiful but when I read through your review I didn’t see the color listed. Can you please tell me the color?

hi miriam, comments are pending until I can get a chance to reply and answer them sometimes that takes a few days as I get so many a day. I’m particularly backed up right now since I got 500 over the weekend. I checked and you have this comment and one other to be approved so not sure what other comments you’ve made that didn’t get approved? You’ve only left two so far under this nick/gmail account and another under mia/hotmail account.

Sorry, I forgot to include the color name, that’s pink peony 🙂
