Revlon Colorstay Overtime Lengthening Mascara Review
Revlon Colorstay Overtime Lengthening Mascara is a newly launched mascara from Revlon for Summer 2012. This one promises a formula that will create longer lashes that won’t flake, smear, or smudge.
Let’s take a look!
I honestly don’t find Revlon Colorstay Overtime Lengthening Mascara all that incredible. I rarely have issues with flaking, smearing, or smudging so maybe that’s why I’m missing the appeal of a formula that promises to last 24 hours.
According to Revlon this is tear proof, sweat proof, and humidity proof…! I’ve worn it 12 hours straight and it seems to hold up great but…like I said I don’t really have a ton of issues with mascara flaking or smudging.
The formula is a inky black with a lightweight feel that doesn’t dry down to a stiff, crunchy finish. The brush is a straight, bristled brush that does create a good deal of length but not a ton of volume. It kinda gives my lashes a straighter, longer look even when curling my lashes prior to application.
At $5.99, it’s not too bad a deal if you want to test it out for yourself. I personally didn’t think it was all that amazing but perhaps if you have issues with smudging, flaking, etc…it might prove a worthy purchase. I got some nice length from it but I didn’t get terribly excited about it overall.
Available now at drugstores.
