Sexylook x Hello Kitty Collagen & Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Mask Review

I hoarded SexyLook X Hello Kitty Facial Sheet Masks while away on Holiday last year. For obvious reasons right? It’s so glaringly obvious why I needed another suitcase to tote boxes of these bad boys home.

Do I have to say it out loud?

These were a cross promotion between Sanrio and the Sexy Look X brand that were available for a limited time in Taiwan. Actually I want to say “are” available since I still see them up and around on many Asian blogs as well as online shops and the likes so don’t be scared to purchase them as they are probably very fresh.

This formula contains collagen which isn’t an ingredient you that can technically be absorbed into the skin (wouldn’t it be nice if it could be?) so you might want to skip over that and take into account the lovely addition of my favorite ingredient of choice, hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronic acid is a fantastic aid for moisturizing skin as well as allowing the skin to retain moisture. This mask works to hydrate skin however I was somewhat disappointed with the overall results.

Each mask is saturated with essence and made of a thinner cotton fiber with cut outs for your eyes, nose, and mouth. You can leave it on for 20-30 minutes.

After use, my skin was nicely hydrated but I didn’t experience long term moisture from the mask and felt like it was more a “flash in the pan” moisturizing experience.

I think they may a nice treat for relaxing and may work nicely if you aren’t in need of a ton of moisture however drier skin will find the results aren’t as great as other sheet masks with the same ingredients. If you’re a bit sensitive to fragrance be aware as they are heavily scented with a pleasant lemony fresh floral fragrance.

But hey, they are cute aren’t they?

I know a few shops that sell them online but one of the most reliable is AlphaBeautyUK on E-bay. I’m not associated with the seller and didn’t purchase my masks from them but have made purchases from them in the past and their prices are reasonable and shipping is super fast.
