Shills Aqua Crystal White Hydrating Treatment Review

Shills is a Taiwanese brand I became obsessed with a few years ago. They tend to make a few products that are quite comparable to Benefit in terms of packaging.

The brand is ultra cheap and perhaps a little bit cheesy as well but I absolutely adore it for some reason. Their BB Cream happens to be a very, very fond favorite of mine.

Shills Aqua Crystal White Hydrating Treatment is a useful yet overly boastful gel moisturizer that’s excellent for Summer wear.

I dunno ’bout you but I love gel moisturizers in the Summer. Water based gels are always so refreshing, cooling, and easy to wear in the Summer due to the lighter texture and formula that absorbs so easily without overly moisturizing skin but providing enough hydration to keep skin looking great.

Shills Aqua Crystal White Hydrating Treatment gets a little to happy with what it claims it does…firming skin, treating fine lines, whitening, brightening, etc…

The ingredients inside don’t technically do any of this but hey, yay for false marketing!

On the upside…(if you can get past the incredible claims of a simple gel moisturizer)

I find this to be a great Summer moisturizer or a daily one for those with oily skin.

The gel is lightweight and absorbs easily into skin. Upon contact with skin it goes very watery and absorbs instantly leaving behind a soft, smooth finish. I love how it leaves my skin soft but not greasy or oily and doesn’t have the heavier feel of some of my Winter moisturizers.

This one is an ideal pick for Summer and only costs a few bucks, $5-$6.

Loves it!

Sasa.com sells Shills as well as AlphabeautyUK on E-bay both have fairly reasonable prices that are close to retail.

What sorts of gel moisturizers do you?

I happen to be a huge fan of the Garnier one as well! Which is a great one if you don’t want to shop online.

Oh this looks great for hot days! I like what you say about the finish. I always think gel moisturizers are going to feel sticky or leave a layer of filminess or something so the smooth finish sounds promising.
