Skin Food Fresh Juice Toner Review
Skin Food Fresh Juice Toner is one of my favorite toners of all time. It smells great, hydrates nicely, and eases dullness just enough to make this Muse happy.
Take a peek!
Skin Food Fresh Juice Toner comes in a rather elegant glass bottle however, I’m ALWAYS so scared of Skin Food products for this reason. I’m clumsy so I’d like smash this on my bathroom tile floor…! Eeep! Plastic would be better but it would take away from the elegance of the product…
I dunno how Skin Food affords such luxurious packaging at such cheap prices!
This toner is thicker and doesn’t have a typically runny, watery texture so it reminds me of a lightweight essence rather than a traditional toner
It contains some sort of fruit complex extract rich in vitamin C and a vegetable complex extracts rich in vitamin E. Vitamin C can’t technically be absorbed into the skin so as far as whitening goes, you probably won’t notice any major different in the tone of your skin.
It does hydrate skin nicely, preps for moisturizer, and has a cool, refreshing feel with a lovely scent. At my first sniff of the Fresh Juice Collection a year or two ago I was kinda disappointed but I’ve really grown to like the smell. It’s rather hard to describe but it has some freshness to it, a bit of fruit, and is very, very pleasant.
As far as toners go this is a very nice one. It moisturizes my skin, preps it nicely for moisturizer, and does ease dullness every so slightly. But….it does prove costly to have it shipped from Korea so if you’re lucky to live around a Skin Food store (some stores are located in CA and the rest in Asia ONLY) it might be worthy of a pick up. But when you’re dealing with costly airmail, jacked up prices, etc…it might be something you wish to skip since the formula isn’t that amazing that you absolutely need it.
I suggest shopping for Skin Food at Sasa.com considering they occasionally have very good free shipping deals available.
