Softymo Hyaluronic Acid Washing Foam Review

Softymo makes some of my very favorite cleansing products so I quickly snapped up Softymo Hyaluronic Acid Washing Foam a few months ago when it launched at Sasa.com.

Take a peek!

Softymo Hyaluronic Acid Washing Foam is a traditional Asian style collagen foaming facial wash with Hyaluronic Acid in the mix to hydrate skin.

Hyaluronic Acid typically hydrates and helps to retain moisture so I don’t see the point of the ingredient in a cleanser as you’re washing it off?

But on the upside this is a hydrating cleanser that doesn’t strip skin or leave it tight or dry after use.

The formula is a thick creamy texture that foams up into a rich lather. It easily washes away dirt, grime, and makeup and works a treat with a Clarisonic Beauty Brush.

At under $7 this is a very nice facial wash that gets skin squeaky clean however the Hyaluronic Acid in the mix is a little bit of a mystery.

You can purchase at Sasa.com

I have the foam one in this line, it’s great :D. I don’t like to use makeup remover AND cleanser so I love that it does both (and I have that eye makeup remover you recommended before just in case).

Maybe some of the Hyaluronic Acid is left behind even after you wash it off? Not sure though, that does seem rather pointless. If I’m going to use Hyaluronic Acid I’d rather it be in a gel I leave on my face like the Lumene gel. Still looks like a nice cleanser though, I’ll have to check it out 🙂

    Hi Muse!

I was wondering if this is suitable for dry and sensitive skin? >_< I've been using cetaphil lately but its too expensive and i was wondering if i could somehow find a replacement,

I believe I have the foam cleanser of this as well, and I have very dry skin. It always works great for me…I use it almost daily. I love Softymo cleansers too- I really wish they had kept their Super Creamy Foam one, it was great! 🙁

I tried this on numerous occasions and it broke me out..almost everything eventually breaks me out, but this did it for sure almost within hour or two after I washed. I had raised flesh colored bumps. Contact dermatitis? I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried it several times and the same result. …I’ll stick to naive and gatsby foams.
