Vichy Capital Soleil SPF 60 Soft Sheer Sunscreen Lotion Review

Summer’s here, almost, kinda, sorta if you live in New York, it just doesn’t know what it wants to do at this point..cold, hot, humid, breezy…is it Summer, is it Spring? Time for me to start preaching the good word about proper SPF to you either way!

Vichy Capital Soleil SPF 60 Soft Sheer Sunscreen Lotion passed across my desk this week so I thought I’d share the word.

Vichy Capital Soleil SPF 60 Soft Sheer Sunscreen Lotion water resistant sunscreen for face and body with a sensitive skin formula.

This one is for days at the beach or the pool but not something you’ll want to indulge in daily since it is quite thick and the waterproof aspect leaves a seal over skin that isn’t particularly makeup friendly.

Capital Soleil SPF 60 Soft Sheer Sunscreen Lotion provides both broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection and contains a unique combination of effective UV filters and powerful antioxidants (Vitamin E and White Grape Polyphenol) to help protect skin at the cellular level to keep it looking healthy and beautiful.

The formula is non greasy, fragrance free, and absorbs easily into skin. It does leave a white cast on skin at first application but it disappears after a few minutes.

Overall, it might be something worthy of a check out if SPF breaks you out as this was formulated and developed for sensitive skin. The non-greasy formula wears comfortably lightweight however I recommend it for outdoor play or while lounging at the pool or beach as it won’t work well under a face full of makeup as I mentioned above.

This is $30 and available at CVS or online at www.vichyusa.com

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
