Bare Minerals Blush Awestruck Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

Bare Minerals is releasing a few products and new shade selections to their general catalog later this Summer which they have entitled the Supernatural Collection.

One of the products being released is Bare Minerals Blush in Awestruck. This shade might have been part of a QVC Special Value in the past but it will now be part of the standard catalog.

Take a look!

I’m always terribly happy that Bare Minerals Blush doesn’t make me get all itchy like the loose foundations because I really love their blushes.

The looser formula might be a turn off to some but they honestly have a fairly easy application and aren’t as messy as you might think. The texture is extra silky and has just the right amount of pigmentation that builds easily without ever looking over done. The formula has always proved very goof proof for me as I have a heavier hand and I never feel like I’m going too loud with my blush when I use Bare Minerals.

Awestruck is a warm shade of peach. Having tons of peach in my stash already I didn’t feel like this stood out for me as a must have shade but it might be something fans of the brand get excited over. The color has a bronze-y peach finish on my skin so it does run warmer. The shade lacks sparkle or shimmer of any kind and swatches slightly chalky as you can see below but it blends out to a very beautiful, natural finish.

I’m not sure if it’s been released in prior sets before so you might want to check your stash just in case.

The shade will become apart of the general catalog later this Summer and have a special release with the Supernatural Collection launch from Bare Minerals.

Love Bare Minerals Blush?

Not really?

Do share!

P.S. I look half baked in this photo! Apologies, guess I’m just tired, I got in rather late!

Puurrttyy!!! BE’s blushes are some of my favs. Don’t think I have this one.

This one I was considering getting but looking at your swatches it looks really similar to appreciate that was in one of the tsv a-d’s. I think it’s a no go. I don’t think it was released previously in anything else though. I don’t recognize the name and couldn’t find it in my stash. Do you think it’s possible they renamed appreciate to make it fit this collection?

Then those two colors are just so close it’s not worth it to get that one, at least not for me. I like appreciate and I’ve been debating on whether I wanted to get anything from this collection. I think it’s too close although I might get the rosy looking moxie. That ones nice and it’s a definite me color!

I’m so glad you reviewed this one, I’ve wanted a peach BE blush for so long!

I’m not sure this is getting into the general catalogue (it’s stated as limited edition), I do love this blush, and find myself lucky to have been able to get one all the way over here in europe. my question is, once i run out, which of the BE blushes is closer in color to it? laughter, vintage peach? Any thoughs are wellcome 🙂
