Bare Minerals Pretty Amazing Lipcolor Bravado & Savvy Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

Fond fans of Bare Minerals Pretty Amazing Lipcolor will be delighted to know that two shades will be launching shortly for Summer 2012.

Bravado and Savvy both release with a new Supernatural shade Collection that Bare Minerals is embracing for their Summer 2012 Collection. Although, both Bravado and Savvy are far from natural shades…they have serious pop factor.

Take a look!

I’ve already reviewed Bare Minerals Pretty Amazing Lipcolor in a past post so I won’t go into super great detail about the product here less I completely bore you.

This is one of the few liquid lips colors I actually like using. It’s thick and very creamy with a whole lot of pigment to back it up. The colors create bold, gorgeous, elegant done lip looks and have a superior wear time that makes them extra wonderful for work or office looks. I’m not particularly a lover of cream products but this has a hydrating feels that wears comfortably if not a little heavy with no shimmer and/or sparkle at all.

Possibly the best part is the price of $16. The lipcolor has a super luxurious feel and proves a far cheaper option with a similiar formula as Chanel’s own Rouge Allure Extrait De Gloss for half the price.

Savvy and Bravado

Savvy

Bravado

Bravado is a warm berry rose shade where as Savvy is a nude, beige. I sadly couldn’t pull of Savvy even though I was terribly tempted by it. It makes me look a little corpse-bride like. However, Bravado, for such a bolder shade of berry, proved very easy to wear.

Overall, Bare Minerals Pretty Amazing Lipcolor is a fabulous liquid lip color that’s well worth checking out. Fans will love having two more great shade selections to choose from I’m sure. As I mentioned above these two shades will be debuting shortly at Bare Mineral counters, boutiques, and fav shops like Dillards, Sephora, and Ulta.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Is this supposed to be part of a new line? Because I’ve had Bravado for months. It’s really gorgeous, kind of a “brick rose” if you know what I mean. It’s super pigmented, so it’s the kind of thing you have to spend a little time getting just right; you’re not going to toss it on without a mirror when you’re walking down the street or whatever. It’s the closest thing I’ve found to Laura Mercier’s LE Glace shade Brick from her Fall 2011 Canyon Collection.

      hi lauren did you get it from a qvc set? The actual shade is launching to the full collection, available for all, outside of a qvc set ;-D true on LM, it does look very much like the shades from that collection!

    Love your site Muse and your reviews, so so helpful!! I have a question. Recently I’ve been wearing more lip coloring products (Revlon lip butters, love!), what do I need to apply on top of things like this so I don’t…um…’share’ them with my fiances lips! >_<
    {I think my 'heart' in the other comment messed up the post}

      hi kitten thanks so much! appreciate your lovely feedback! sadly it is kinda hard to make products non transferable unfortunately he has to deal with it 🙁 either that or you can start purchasing mac pro lipsticks or other products that offer non transfer but I always find these formulas a little limiting in finish.
