Bare Minerals Ready Bronzer with Brush Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

Oh hey, bronzer babes!

Bare Minerals Ready Bronzer comes in a new pressed format and its own blush for application. Stylin’! The addition of pressed powders from Bare Minerals is an exciting one to say the least and this here bronzer is getting raves across the board.

Here’s a look!

This solid bronzer delivers a rich, golden bronze shade to cheeks and face for a super buildable glow that’s never over done. I’m not particularly a bronzer powder person in all honesty but from time to time I run across one or two I enjoy and Bare Minerals Ready Bronzer applies and wears super nicely.

Bare Minerals includes their SeaNutritive Mineral Complex in the formula that supposedly delivers skin-nourishing benefits.

I find the shade is a golden tan look with a soft, silky formula that enhances my skin tone without making me look orange, too dark, or just dull. The color pairs up nicely with blush as well if you enjoy the glow of the sun with a hint of color.

Swatched: The Deep End

I think the reason I love the formula so much is because it’s incredibly sheer so it allows a slow build up. A quick swipe won’t yield a ton of color but you can slowly build the color up for the best color pay off. For someone as heavy handed as me this is god sent.

They also include a brush along with it if you’re purchasing from QVC. The brush is a long haired, bushy bronzer brush. It has floppier bristles which typically isn’t what I’d reach for when applying bronzer but these bristles allow for a slow build up so you can’t easily over do application here.

Overall, if you’re seeking the glow of the sun in a formula that isn’t terribly pigmented and allows for a slow build up Bare Minerals Ready Bronzer is a simple and easy way to achieve it.

It’s available now as a set, brush included, for $29 from QVC.com

My cousin got this bronzer the last time we took a casual trip to Sephora. (lies- who doesn’t buy something when they go to Sephora?) And it looked gorgeous! I’m always looking for a good matte bronzer than wont make my paper-white skin look orange and Jersey Shore worthy.

lol clare, a visit to sephora always ends up in trouble! I like it b/c it’s rather sheer so you can slowly build up with going too Snooki!

been using this daily since i got it in march. i got the medium shade. it does look natural and i like there is no shimmer or glitter in it. just adds healthy warmth to the skin. it supposedly also has skin firming properties in it which i’m all for!

I have it in The High Dive (medium) and it’s just gorgeous. I do love all of the Ready line they released, the blushes are beautiful as well. I’m around NC25ish normally and it looks so natural, one of my favorite bronzers

I’m 63 so I have to be careful with bronzers. This is a really good one. I can use the lighter one now and build up with middle one this summer as I “tan”.

I did like that one, but I was reading the ingredients online and I do believe they all have bismuth in their bronzers. Which makes me nervous to try since their original fdn made me itch like crazy.

SAME here! I’m finding the pressed powders don’t make me as itchy as the loose thank god!
