BSC Dissolve Spots Crystal Collagen Mask Review
Here’s an interesting little dark spot corrector.
BSC Dissolve Spots Crystal Collagen Mask are small little disks that you can place on dark spots, discolorations, and freckles to fade them and lighten these areas.
The fact that they are location specific disks made me highly curious about trying them as you can apply them in the specific areas of where your dark spots or hyper pigmentation is. Rather cool that you can target those areas for lightening eh?
Let’s take a look!
These are 20 pack (10 duo packs) of small half dollar size disks that are individually wrapped in duos. Each disk is a clear jelly-like mask treatment that you can use on specific areas of your face for addressing acne scarring/marks, pigmentation issues, dark spots, and freckles.
The jelly-like feel of the disks is rather interesting as they are saturated in essence which gives them not only a slippery feel but a hydrating one as well.
Supposedly the essence attacks not only the surface layer of your skin but also breaks up pigmentation issues on the bottom layer…mmm skeptical am I.
I’ve used two boxes over the course of three months and honestly they did absolutely nothing at all…!
The disks are rather slippery so it’s difficult to keep them in place (they tend to slide off your face quickly) so you have to lay very still when they are on. Each treatment can be applied for 10 to 20 minutes daily. I went all crazy and left them on for 30 minutes. They have a nice hydrating feel and if nothing at all they’ll soften the skin you apply them too but they do absolutely nothing for dark spots. I didn’t try them on freckles but I tested them the same time my friend Mai did and she swore to the skincare gods they did something amazing for lightening freckles she had below her cheek bones…! Sadly, I won’t see her until she visits from Japan in August so I can’t verify this miraculous happening!
I applied them on the left hand side of my lower face where I have a bit of hyerpigmentation/darkness and saw absolutely no lightening of this area.
A quick glance at the ingredients doesn’t yield too much greatness either:
Water, NMF-50, Haluronic acid, Stay C-50, Lavender Essential Oil, Glabridin, Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans, Colloidal Mineral, Sodium PCA.
I’ll stick with my Philosophy Dark Spot Corrector for now as BSC doesn’t actually address any of my issues.
You might want to check them out for freckles though? Maybe they’ll change your life like they did Mai’s!
I got mine at Sasa.com
