E.L.F. Studio Cosmetics Lotion Wipes Review

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

I gotta say I’m always a little surprised that my sister doesn’t glide across the room when she walks. The girl applies body cream by the gallon everyday. Bless her soul.

I wish I was as diligent and I should be since I have drier skin but I feel so pressed for time in the morning that I sometimes skip out on the body cream and leave it until the evening or dare I say sometimes in the evenings I forget! Needless to say I should be moisturizing my body way more than I do…! If I used as much moisturizer on my body as I do on my face I’d probably glide too.

That’s why I gotta say that E.L.F. Lotion Wipes are kinda rocking my world at the moment. These are so freaking nifty.

Take a look!

These are seriously awesome. Each package contains 15 pre-soaked moisture sheets ($3 per pack). They kinda resemble makeup remover wipes but they are saturated with body lotion rather than cleanser.

They come in the following scents:

  • Vanilla & Coconut
  • Milk & Honey
  • Cucumber & Melon
  • Peony Petal
  • Sweet Mango

The formula is a light lotion that you can swipe on using the sheet. The sheets aren’t overly saturated but they contain just the right amount of product to hydrate skin delicately and leave behind a fresh scent. Granted, they aren’t going to attack SUPER rough areas but they prove lovely for on the go use and travel (no bulky bottles to carry!).

The application is mess-free however, they leave hands slightly sticky after use but it absorbs quickly enough so it isn’t too bothersome.

I used them on my arms and legs for the past two days and they work a treat for both areas. I like how lightweight the lotion is so I’m not left feeling greasy or oily after use just pleasantly moist.

The sheets are infused with Aloe, Cocoa Butter, Vitamin E, Soy, Ginkgo Biloba, Coconut Milk and Sweet Almond Oil.

They aren’t an end all to your body lotion of choice but they are a convenient way to hydrate with a mess-free method that’s travel friendly.

At $3 for 15 sheets they probably aren’t the cheapest option in the world since body creams are a dime a dozen at the drugstore for considerably more product but I still like them. As someone who travels a lot I love that I can tuck these in my carry on and not piss the TSA off.

Overall, a fun way to get your daily moisture.

These seem like a good idea for when your staying over someone’s house or on vacation. One wipe is enough for both arms and legs?

    • the Muse

absolutely unless you have super long legs ;-D I’m only 5’1 lol so it’s plenty ;D yeah! Or even just a day at the beach, they kinda have a cool, refreshing feel to them! and they smell amazing! might be a bit much those if you’re sensitive to fragrance in your body products.

      • Cj

Well I’m only 5’8″ so they might do. Nope I love me some fragrant body products lol. I’m gonna get a pack of mango, cucumber melon, and milk n honey 😉 Hopefully I don’t walk past any cannibals, I’ll smell good enough to eat! Lol 😛

        • the Muse

that’s a heap taller than I am! ;-D I think they should be fine, they aren’t soaking wet but they work fine on both my arms and legs with a single sheet, it’s a generously size sheet! lol…”CJ I will nom you so hard kid!” ;-D

I have these and love them! The vanilla and coconut ones smell great. I hope Target will stock them soon!

  • Daisyv316

I’m glad you reviewed there, I had my eyes on these. I like the concept. I am a barista, so Im constantly washing and therefore I have super dry hands. These will be convenient to have 🙂

    • the Muse

be careful on your hands Dais. They are a little sticky hun!

  • auroragyps

These sound great. If they sell well, I hope they come out with a few new scents, like for Fall & Winter, and unscented ones would be nice too.

  • Maddy Lee

These sound cool but are really wasteful===== I hate all of these wipes! Just buy a regular lotion bottle & recycle it through your regular plastic recycling program or Teracycle & then you don’t throw out ANYTHING! good review though

  • Phyrra

I love the scent combos! I seem to break out when I use these, even if I rinse my face afterwards.
