Estee Lauder Re-Nutriv Radiant UV Base SPF 50 PA+++

It’s about time someone created a solid UV Base! Estee Lauder Re-Nutriv Radiant UV Base SPF 50 PA+++ takes a note from our friends in Asia and gives us a high level of anti-aging SPF in their new makeup base.

Take a look!

This sheer base supposedly helps to repair the visible effects of past UV damage while nourishing and helping to defending your skin from the aging effects of everyday exposure with Broad Spectrum SPF 50.

The formula is also fortified with the exclusive Life-Renewing Molecules to help repair, recharge and restore skin’s energized, radiant appearance.

I’m most into the fact that we might actually finally be getting a lightweight SPF base in the US that isn’t super heavy!

Problem?

It’s $60!

Bases like this are far cheaper in the Asia.

A girl can hope at some point the US drugstores will finally catch up to Asia’s weightless SPF products.

What do you think?

Willing to splurge $60 on a superior protection SPF Base from Estee Lauder?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Oh, man. No way I can splurge on that! I’ll have to hold out for a drugstore option!

I would not splurge on this for, despite my love of most things Lauder, I cannot tolerate the Re Nutriv smell.

La Roche Posay also has an SPF 50 primer at CVS. It’s 30 something dollars, but it’s better than $60!

well it all depends if it really does reverse sun damage and provides a non oily protection, my face is worth $60 bucks!

I actually just might! Applying moisturizer, SPF AND then primer is not a possibility for me on busy mornings so the time this could save me just might be worth the hefty price tag.. I am very very curious to have a closer look at this! x
