Take a look!
KATE Covering Concealer for Pores is a creamy and smooth primer formulated with silicone that effortlessly glides over skin prepping skin for makeup, concealing pores, and creating the look of smooth, flawless skin.
Ok, did you get scared when I said silicone? I know I’m not a fond fan of silicone primer because it makes me feel itchy as hell however KATE has successfully created a formula that has silicones but also has a moisturizing, creamy feel. The formula is a thicker cream formula that smooths on face like a lighter moisturizer but still has the stick of a silicone primer. It absorbs oil in a snap and creates an even, smoother layer on skin for makeup to adhere too. I don’t have larger pores however ones on my nose are visible to me so I like smoothing this on to conceal those. It does a fine job of filling pores and giving the look of flawless perfection.
The reason I enjoy it so much is the smooth feel of the product and the ease of application. It doesn’t pill off like other silicone primers, it doesn’t make me feel itchy, and it has a slightly hydrating feel to it. On top of all this goodness it holds makeup really well. I rarely rave primers but this does a really good job of keeping bb creams/foundation products on skin for longer wear. It creates a solid layer between skin and makeup so you’ll find your base products wear longer, oxidize less, and won’t fade as quickly.
My problem?
It comes in a ridiculously tiny tube. It’s like a sample size.
But overall, small size and all, I love it! A great primer that’s truly HG for me (holy grail). I pay around $7 for this and get it directly from Japan however, shops like Imomoko.com have it for around $13 which is a fair price in my humblest.
Great stuff and well worth a try.
Muse Approved for purchase.
