Kose Clearturn Deep Moist Essence in Cotton Review

I’m a huge sheet mask freak, I overly use and abuse them. When my skin needs a little break from sheet masks, I’m rushing around and need a quick pick up, or I just want to concentrate on specific dry areas of my face I reach for Kose Clearturn Deep Moist Essence in Cotton.

These incredibly useful little cotton pads are saturated with essence and inject just the right amount of hydration into skin.

Loves ’em!

Kose Clearturn Deep Moist Essence in Cotton are housed in a snap close plastic box. Each box contains two foil packages each of 28 small rectangle squares of cotton per box. The squares are saturated in essence so they have a wet feel like a sheet mask. I like that they divide the portion into separate packages as it allows you to keep a portion fresh as you run through the first package.

Supposedly these are enriched with 30 kinds of plant extract but I doubt it somehow haha…! You can use them as a spot sheet masks of sorts by placing them on your forehead, cheeks, and chin. I typically place one between my brows as well since I get flaky skin in this area. They act wonderfully to ease patchy areas while soothing and softening skin. You won’t get the same hydrating effect you would from a full sheet mask but they do have some nice moisturizing abilities in their own right.

I typically put them on and pat them gently during the wear. They dry out pretty fast so maybe 15 minutes or so in you’ll notice they’ll begin to slide or curl off your face.

After use simply toss them out.

If you want you can also prep your skin with them prior to moisturizer by simply swiping one across your face. It’s a nice way to get skin toned and prepped for your favorite facial cream.

They make for a nice, fast way to get a little moisture on skin when you’re in a hurry or just aren’t wanting to use a full sheet mask. Sheet masks are somewhat rare in the US so you might be a little bit of a Scrooge with your stash. These make for a nice treatment in between using your valuable stash of sheet masks. I’ve been using them for ages and always keep a box or two in my beauty closet. I find all sorts of uses for them and particularly love them for a super fast face mask experience prior to doing my makeup and heading out for the night.

These are Muse Approved for purchase.

They just prove a practical, useful, and fun for me.

I get mine from a little Asian Beauty store but they are available all around the Internet. I believe Sasa sells them for $10.

Tried ’em?

Do share!

I purchased this item.
